He's getting scarier-----I don't know why people haven't picked up on it.

Earlier this week he spoke out against freedom of speech and freedom of the press saying that Freedom of Expression is helping the terrorists. He even said "Now people are going to say, I am against freedom of the press, but I am not." But that contradicts exactly what he said in his speech.

Then, after they caught the suspect in the New York bombing, he lamented that this terrorist will get the best doctors and medical care, and the best attorneys to defend him, and spoke out against due process, saying that terrorists should not be given due process.

Then yesterday he proposed a nation-wide stop and frisk policy----as an answer to black-on-black crime.

Now you might argue that he's talking about taking the rights away of terrorists (well----except in the last case where it is simply discrimination against blacks and Latinos, which is why the stop and frisk policy in New York was stopped). But don't forget that the Patriot Act enacted by Bush gives a very broad and alarmingly vague definition of a terrorist and acts of terrorism. Peacefully protesting against police brutality and violence, for example, could make you a terrorist.

So now we are getting a picture of what Trump means when he speaks of being tough on crime, and why he believes that only he can solve America's crime problem (which he claims is getting worse than ever, contrary to FBI statistics which state that crime has dropped significantly), and how he plans to make America great again.

Consider this, just from the example of African-Americans. It is already a given that far too many black people are being killed by police, regardless of whether or not they are armed, the severity of the crime (if any), and their innocence. There is national anger, protests, rioting, and even violence against police officers in regards to this issue. Trump has promised that he will very quickly put an end to this.

Now we see that he likes a nation-wide stop and frisk policy (and that is probably only the tip of the iceberg in terms of how he intends to get tough on crime). There is no way around it—the racial discrimination in police actions is not just going to go away overnight. Stop and frisk is only going to add to the discriminatory nature of police action, raise tensions, increase anger, and will inevitably add to the violence that already exists on both sides.

As protests and riots increase, these terrorists (groups like Black Lives Matter, rioters, peaceful protestors, those who film the police (which is legal right now), people in sports who sit during the National Anthem, and anyone else who speaks out against the police) will be rounded up. They will not be afforded due process, and the press will be restricted on what it can report about all of this. In fact, the Patriot Act already provides a way for them to be stuck in a military prison for years without a hearing, never to be heard from again. Yes, he will make Amerika great again.

Apparently the Republican Party, whose members like to make a show of pulling the Constitution out of their pocket and speaking out on American institutional rights, has no real regard for the Constitution. It is nothing more than a show for them in which they give lip service to this most important Federal document to protect our freedom. How can it be otherwise when this clearly demonstrates the removal of our 1st, 4th, 5th, and 6th Amendment Rights?

 

I heard a clip of the speech he gave trying to convince black voters to stop voting Democrat - i didnt catch where he was or who exactly he was speaking to

It wasnt so much what he said (that Democrats havent done anything for black people and they dont have anything to lose by voting Republican) but his tone really creeped me out. He sounded so angry and disrespectful.

I generally hate Hitler comparisons, to anyone - and I think Trump is more like Mussolini - but it did remind me a bit of a hypothetical situation where Hitler asks the Jews what they have to lose by voting for him.

Trump's dad was in the KKK, he should probably give up on the black vote and keep his focus on angry white dudes

 

He's good at talking about it, that's for sure.

 

Now Ted Cruz has finally come around and endorsed Trump, while Bruce Springsteen has endorsed Cllinton, calling Trump a moron.

An unpopular politician and a popular entertainer. I don't imagine either one will have that much impact.

It all comes down to the debates. The first debate is this Monday. Trump supporters will miss it because it's on at the same time as Monday Night Football. Only in America!

So Hillary invited Mark Cuban to the debate to sit front row as a way to possibly troll or intimidate Trump. Cuban and Trump were former friends and business partners, now he endorses Hillary. Trump responded by inviting Gennifer Flowers to sit front row as well to play the same card against Hillary.
