I have a phobia about doing the washing up. I think about doing it a lot, but don't actually do it. There's probably a psychological condition named after it. Do you wash up straight after dinner, as you cook, the next day, or do you let it accumulate like me? I have to admit that I'm basically a house slob.
My husband and I take turns. I like the dishes to be washed after we eat dinner otherwise they’ll sit there for days. He doesn’t mind leaving them for the next day but the next day never comes You might just be a procrastinator. Lol There’s no shame in that!
I basically use the same bowl for everything and wash the bowl after I use it. If it doesn't go in a bowl though I at least rinse it and leave it for later or put it away depending on what it is.
Scrape Off Food......Insert In Dishwasher......Add Detergent......Press Start..... Pick Up Glass Of Wine......Plonk Ass On Veranda......Problem Solved...... Cheers Glen.
Wash as I go. All dishes are in the dishwasher within 15 minutes of finishing dinner If any dishes get used after the dishwasher is running, they get washed by hand before bed No dish left behind! A messy house makes me depressed and anxious A clean house makes me feel calm and peaceful
You mean clean the kitchen? Oh, that happened s as I'm cooking. You say that like there are people in this world who could sit down to dinner with dirty dishes on their sink. The fuck is that all about?
as soon as i eat. what would i clean as i cook? you put the food on the dish, put the dish in the microwave, and then eat the food off the same dish.
We have a super nice, super quiet, stainless steel dishwasher that we use once a year. Dishes get washed immediately after eating, placed in the drying rack and stowed away when dry. These things make it easy.
I just need to get to it before my partner does because otherwise it's a depressing illusion where at a glance it is done and I have less to do but actually most of it needs rewashing because he's so terrible at it. I've told him. You'd think he'd find that discouraging and stop "helping", but no.
Thats actually sweet he keeps helping, sometimes I suspect my partner does a terrible job just so i'll tell him he doesnt have to help anymore But no such luck!
I 2nd that. And the dishwasher has to be loaded correctly! I clean up as as I cook too. I don't like my kitchen looking like something exploded in it.
yup...the second I empty the frying pan or pot I have it right in the sink washing it....my boarder leaves his pots and pans for ''later after a few bongs''....I hate it my dishwasher crapped out a year ago and I told y landlord not to replace it...thing is a pain in the ass
I usually wash as I go. I noticed that I do most of my dishes immediately but always seem to leave a few random things--maybe a couple of spoons--in the sink. Like, once most of them are washed, I can't be bothered with the little things.
I can't argue with that but there are folks who like to have everything done and put away rather than leaving things out.
