oh as for the car..the car will get rattled alot but just go slow..very very slow and you'll be fine
you wanna go slow as u can anyway for safety sake especialy when your getting close where kids and dogs play (also the dust kicked up along the road is enoughj to get ya really sick, lung infections and all, so the slowerr u go the less dust everyone hasta breathe)

if your going over bumps at a crawl, and weaving ariound them avoiding the bigger ones best you can instead of flying over em at 30 mph (30 mph u think is slow but on those roads its flying ...way too fast)
also remember thgere will be alotta single lane blind corners with great big busses comming ast ya
go real slow and ber ready to get far off the road and outta the way
we've seen busses go over cliffs too many times rtdrying to avoid someione speeding along in an suv
i know if your at the end of a 40 hour drive with just 30 miles of dirt road left to go you can wanna get there fast, but even if it adds 3 more hours to the trip its best to go slow as u can go and keep it safe for all other gatherers and your shocks as well

you could plan on taking extra time off work to stick around and hel,p with cleanupthat rightthere is huge simply planning on statying a few extra weeks /(and plan on those extra weeks not being about fun but about workibg your ass off not for family but for the forrest.. restoring it to its natural beauty)
ahh theres somethinbg that you can do today, contact the fs resourse folks (or contasct someone whos already in contact with them)find out what seeds would be best for reseading the meadows and trails in the area and show upo at the gathering already ready with a few bags of seeds


your part is yours to define like i said, nobody can tell u your part and u can use creativity to define your part
when someione showed up with a solar powered water filtration system in michigan or a bicycle powered shower they did theyre part without digging a single shitter (although they may have dug as few i dunno)

but there are parts that are truly nesacary to the health sand saftety of the gathering..these parts must be done, and too often it falls on too few to get it done
so if your able to do these parts beyind the part you choose to dothen by all meandss jump on in

the parts that are criticlke though are shitter digging (in gebneral we could always use twice as many as wehave) all thinbgs food related preperation cleanup firewood water serving and ofcourse supply
parkiung and front gate..this is a criticle and often less desireable job, dealling with a-camp can be tough, keeping the trafic flowing and organized as well as keeping front gate peaceful and safe
caqlm.. if you have evenm basic first aid knowledge calm can use you..hell ebven if your only able to wash feet clean wounds and direct ppl to the right healers u could be a help
info i wouldnt call criticle and they certainly have plenty of help but not all info happendss at infio..i mean if a kiutchen needs chocolaste for zuzus u can run from kitchen to kitchen trying to find some

other important (or criticle i cant tell the difference anymore..lol) jobs are protectuion, simply means if u see someone set up camp by the strweam ask them to movd it 300 feet from the water..if u see someone squatting to take a shit by the spring stopo them if you see someone about to dig a firepit in a sensative stop thenm (by stop them i dfont mean go start an argument, in fact i recommend going as a group, both briothgers and sisters and talking to them, explauining why its not a good idea to camp shit or difg there then masybe offer to help them move)

same goes for firewatch, keeping personal fires from popping up asll over
and inspecting existing fires to make sure they have proper pits anbd no chjance of root fires

the\n theres kitchen safety inspections (or shitter safetry inspections) just go around make sure they are clean have bleach water proper sanitation and in the shitter case arent overflowing (once they are filled to sabout elbow deep (fingertips to elbow, or about 2 feet) they need to be filled in and a new one dug
there needs to be lyme or ash at each shitter

in addition shiotters must be dufg in the proper places and in the right types of soil so shit wont leak into the watertable (this can be toughyt to you at info or by more experienced shitter diggferes)

Don't know if Internet Explorer does or not, but you can have enough respect for those of whom you, apparently, expect to read your posts, to run them through MS Word, or a yahoo email program, or something that will check your spelling, so that they are readable.
