You're pretty boring yourself mafuman. All you wannabe expats are even more protective of the netherlands than the dutch. The fact that it's not even your country by any stretch of the imagination makes the whole fixation very sad.

Funny how you accuse me of offering nothing but negatives about the dutch/holland, when you are incapable (or unwilling) to see ANY negatives. The truth is that my view of the country and it's people is far more balenced than yours. Your fantastical view of the place is childlike. You've built Amsterdam up to be something it isn't. Although, seeing as how you're stoned out of your mind when you are there, I guess maybe you can be forgiven for your simplistic view.

Perhaps if I was a major stoner, then maybe the availability of pot would obscure any negatives about the place.

I would also like to add that in this case all I did was offer my own opinion that 22 days was a little long for amsterdam alone. I was subsequently attacked (as per usual) and I responded in kind (as per usual also).

 

I agree with Jason that 22 days is way to long to spend in amsterdam alone.. So if you're planning day trips and are going to belgium go to antwerpen and gent.. I love those citys..

 

But the portion you have on view is very, very attractive.
