Does this make me a stoner

I just started to smoke weed and I've ran out of money , so i started to plan ways to get money from my parents, and of course with that money i'd buy more weed.on saturday i didn't get to smoke at all, so i was really really bitchy. Because of this my friends call me a stone... what do you guys think

Yea I'm not embarassed at all to be a stoner. I think it's something that has made me a better person.

 

i'm not embarassed about being a stoner...but i would be really fucking ashamed if i conned my parents out of cash to buy weed.

 

There's a difference from being a Stoner and 'One of those people'

One of those peple do what you did...cry, pretty much, when they can't smoke. Stoner just go "Meh, I'll get high tomorrow...or whenever" It's much easier.

And try not to take too much money from your mom and dad. If they find out your spending it on pot, they'll be pissed...

 

Some rookies were smoking with me and a pal. The rookies were sitting in two chairs next to eachother and me and my friend tom were on chairs opposite. one of them, before punching the bong, lifts his head and asks seriously and innocently 'are we stoners?'
I pondered for a moment and replied 'No you're not stoners' then lay back in my chair and said 'We're stoners'

and Tom and i, to this day, see it as the best, most well timed quote and one that will bond us forever.

sorry i can understand if you didnt find any interest in that story, no one ever does, it has a lot of meaning to Tom and I though.

what is the difference between a stoner and a pothead?

 

they are terms describing the same thing, though depending on where you are, each may have its own specific meaning. i dont like being called a pothead because it makes out that pot is the only thing in my life. it is a big thing yes but its not the central focus of my lifestyle, it is an important element, such as food for some or television for others, or cigarettes for more.

stoner however more classifies the integration of weed into the lifestyle. when weed is part of your lifestyle (as opposed to a treat or something out of teh ordinary; once its ritualised for example, its part of your lifestyle, even if its once a week) then you are a stoner.

pothead is more like a burnout, or someone whos only focus in life is weed.

that is how i see it, not what the definitive definitions are, because they are subject to your society
