Does teh number of men a woman has slept with alter your opinion of her?

I'd like to know how a man could tell if ANY woman has (slrpt-< that was too good to re-spell)slept with more than 1 man if she doesn't tell him.I mean really--aren't women sort of one size fits all.

 

If you a chick who has slept with 30 guys ny the age of 18 then you are a slut. Either that, or there is no such thing as a slut...take your pick.

 

I'm not clear on the slut concept so I guess it doesn't bother me. I'm fine with double digits and am there myself by now. I've been involved now (on and off for 5+ years) with someone who is probably in triple digits. Sure I want to know the person's past experience and numbers, just because it makes me feel I know them better, and it says where they are on the reserved vs. adventurous scale. High or low numbers aren't good or bad in their own right. My one concern (other than safety but I think most highly active people are pretty careful) would be someone could have a high number because they're hard to get along with so have trouble keeping partners around for long. Other than that, I guess I like them adventurous .

I don't see sex as casual so yes, this would effect my opinion of her in terms of my having some kind of romantic relationship with her. Also I'd have to wonder if she had been to see the doctor recently - I don't need any unwanted after effects.

 

yes it does matter. there is a biological and a medical significance to it, as well as a big part of personality. it might be old fashioned or sexist but i prefer my vaginas to not be revolving doors.

I can`t really be sexually attracted to inexperienced women. When a girl is beautiful but inexperienced, I tend to look at her like a museum piece. Beautiful? Yes. Makes my dick hard? No.

 

Interesting way of phrasing that Cherea, I'll have to agree on the museum part, but for different reasons.


Having a large number will/might turn me off IF it's caused the girl to get an STD/STI, or indicates among other clues/hints that they have a loyalty problem within the relationship itself.

I can forgive bad history, but STD/STI's complicate the matter on a case by case basis.

That said, I don't like virgin girls who are really uptight, and can't relax and engage in the sex act with ease or think their faith prohibits certain aspects of a sex act. (this position only or no oral or etc...)
(Note: this also pisses me off as a Christian because no part in the bible forbids oral, and anybody who understands the Hebrew, knows the whole "sexual immorality" phrase in the bible is a mistranslation of something much more specific, not as broad based)

If being a virgin, means it makes it harder for the foreplay to do it's job because of emotional walls based on religious fear or something like that, then I have a problem in that arena as well.

 

To me not in the least because I never judge someone on their past.. regardless of what transpired. I have made my mistakes too and would not like to be judged by them, so why should I?

It's an unfortunate fact of life that the more a guy sleeps around, the more he is seen as a stud, but if a woman does exactly the same thing she is seen as being some kind of a slut. I've never understood this kind of logic. It's the extreme of double standards & is totally wrong. Women have just as much a libido as men do and accordingly have just as much right get satisfaction where, when & as often as they please.

Needless to say, it doesn't bother me how many other partners they've had before me - or even if I'm just one of several of their current choices of sexual partner. Sex is sex - an act by Nature's own design to be enjoyed equally by both genders.

 

It's because women don't have to try very hard to get partners. Men do. Not saying I agree with judging anyone based solely on the number of partners they had, but it's not difficult to see why men who bed lots of women are seen more favorable than a woman who has had sex with a similar number of partners.
