This is true. This reminds me of a funny story involving a friend of mine...

We were at a bar and this older yet stunningly gorgeous woman caught my friend's eye. He approached her and she told him she was old enough to be his mother. His response?

"That's alright with me. I'm still old enough to be your daddy."

I think sexy is mostly what the person is throwing off and if you are on the same wavelength.

People are different in all situations.

On the flirting , dunno I've never really seen myself as a part time flirt obsessive.S'times , I do it without knowing I am.

I know I do it with people I dont fancy , ones I probably don't and even ones I'm undecided on.

People generally see it as fun , a small number take the hump when it doesnt lead anywhere.I used to think girls are generally *much* more switched on than guys with it ,but now I'm not so sure..

Yeah, I don't like to be around drunk people in general. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a party like everyone, but not the kind where the sole objective is to see how badly everyone can defile themselves.

I realize why I am this way. I was a very impressionable 5-10 year old when my much older brother was destroying his life over alcohol. I know this is rooted there.

I do have my vices, but alcohol is definitely not one of them.

 

its not a matter of loosening up but expanding beyond boundaries. Which could be essentially seen as the same thing.

I don't find drunk people sexy either. I just know that when I am, I am not as embarrassed by the way that I look. Not drunk so much as just buzzed. Its not a matter of opening to my mate at that point but being a bit less inhibited about myself.

 

I wish more people thought like that. Marriage has become such a joke these day because it is meaningless to most people. Divorce is too easy.

 

i don't like when people are drunk, either. i don't like BEING drunk. it's horrible. a happy party with some happy buzzed people is fun, though.

 

That saddens me.

I understand what you are saying though. I know it takes that for most people to feel ok with themselves, but that is a sad commentary on humanity, IMO.

Actually Hack, I agree with you. I like to party and take the edge. Smooth up a little bit but being drunk or being around somebody over that edge is quite annoying and becomes less and less fun.
I do like a crowd with a happy buzz firmly in place though.

Well they were going out together 10 / 12 years.
Both were quite "innocent"/shy when they met.
She later matured and became self confident.He admitted they got married thro "course of events" and it was better than "pulling in clubs".
They mightve lasted a lifetime , but fuck , doesnt sound like reasons to marry in my book...
