Not long ago a man showed me around his 1/2 acre food production garden.
All I could say was that he seemed to know what he was doing and and he had everything set up.

Perfection kills the existence of everything and anything. The only reason anything at all in the universe exists is because of imperfections in space. Energy, matter, life, intelligence... we are the evolution of space-time anomalies.

i would think that someone who is not equally perfect could learn a lot from such a person. it's just a different topic of conversation.

if everyone's perfect, then i suppose there is a lot less to talk about.

There's no such thing as perfection. It's an abstract concept.

Sometimes the point is not what you can offer to the conversation but what you can take from it.

  6. Define perfection. If it kills conversation, is it technically perfect?

Also, the perfection of his food plant inspired this very conversation we are having now. So maybe it was perfect because we can also talk about it, but maybe its perfection was a flaw which is the real reason we can talk about it.

    There's always room to grow.

I was given a tour of a friends aquaponics set up before I had any knowledge of the concept at all. Even though he had the whole thing up and running and producing, I still had plenty to say in regard to his operation and potential for growth. If I thought it was perfect, where would he go from there? He's since moved his rig to Florida and expanded it twice.

Anyone remember that episode of Duckman where a super-computer creates a perfect world but in doing so makes imperfect because imperfection is driving force needed to gain perfection?

Well those who speak a lot can be a real bore at times. But the positive is that you can learn a lot without asking any questions.

But yes, perfectionism brings with it a lot of corresponding seriousness which may not be a good idea if the inner motive is to chill and relax and have a good time.
