Nixons secret enemies were also Americans. He was one known for illegally wiretapping citizens, the Watergate Scandal, and generally what only can be called, criminal activity.

But if you don't think Obama's doing the same things, you are sadly mistaken. If Obama cared about freedom Bradley Manning would be released, and several laws wouldn't have passed this year. So believe it or not, he has some power that he refuses to utilize; notice he can never really do what the People want, that's because he's working for someone else...

 

I meant policies left of center, which is accurate, I'm complimenting Nixons policies, or more accurately, dismissing the change which has happened in politics in the US within the last 30 years.

I don't believe Obama is a white knight of freedom. I do believe his policies are much more liberal which is better for a growing multicultural 21st century society. Got Lilian Bedletter passed, More funding for Americorps and Peace Corps, More funding for EPA and solar and wind companies, Healthcare, repealed don't ask don't tell, More infrastructure investments.

It's obvious that I'd support the more liberal candidate. You speak about his flaws like the rest of us don't realise them. It isn't true. But until either a better candidate presents themselves, or a revolution comes, than I'm strongly supporting Obama.

That isn't Alex Jones. It's Adam Vs. The man, and he just said the company Monsanto had a guy as president of policy in the EPA, changed the laws in their favor, then went back to being vice president of Monsanto. The government just wastes our money!!

Further, even if it was about a man at a completely separate agency, it would not change the fact that the EPA is necessary for keeping cows from pooping in the water and stuff.

I'm pretty sure that would have had something to do with getting the health care bill passed... FDA has been populated with the worst of the worst Big Pharma CEO's for quite some time so this is nothing new.

Here is the change I've gotten Obama signed NRRP,CISPA,NDAA,FAA and H.R. 347. That's the hope and change that I voted for. What a relief it is to give up so many of my personal liberties. I can sleep so much better at night knowing agents can storm in and arrest me under the guise of terrorism while detaining me for as long as they want with no lawyer no word to my loved ones. I think they all tie in together. I'm saying that government agencies aren't made to help the people- whether it's the EPA,FDA or any other government agency, they're not made to help the people. Most of them are ran for the benefit of corporations and not to help the people. The EPA just issues fine for let's say improper waste disposal. Yet, it's cheaper for businesses to pay the fine, rather than having someone dispose of it properly. Not to mention that there's most likely some huge businesses that have favoritism on their side. In other words, Corperate CEOs in government which change the laws and they wish.

It's easier than you think, to be a liberal politician.. it doesn't take anything away from Obama when he creates more government programs with our money, or when he gives our money back to us. After all, between wars, tyrannical laws, policemen, Soldiers and, the ability to manipulate the stock market; The rich already HAVE what they want from Government. Giving a little of our money back to quell dissent is all that Obama and the Government's doing. They don't wish to really help us, they just want to shut everyone up while they rob the treasury, and transition us into a world government.

 

It's not like rivers weren't literally catching on fire or anything before the EPA, oh wait. Or the fact even with the threat of inspections from an underfunded FDA and USDA the glorious free market still can't keep food processing centers up to code.

 

I don't know where you're getting your facts from. Firstly, we're able to sue for damages these days.

If Turkey Hill or something, sold you contaminated meat that made you sick, you could sue for millions of dollars. Yet, these days one would end up suing the FDA or the USDA for inspecting the meat although it was contaminated.

Notice that when there's a class action law suite on TV for prescription medications, they sue the FDA for saying it was okay. So really what we're doing is taking away company liability.

Even with the Banks and other such government interests. If the Banks go bankrupt, they just drop the debt onto us. IMO this is one of the biggest problems in American government.

Well good sir have you read U.N. Article 15 of the U.N. Arms trade treaty? I recomend that you do. I seen our troops praticing implementing this with eastern bloc troops in 2010 it was called Operation Vigilant Guard. Performed right here in Chicago. We americans take the right to bare arms seriously. To see my govt. going about taking our arms away essentially denying me my constitutional rights in such a creepy way as to land foriegn troops on our sacred ground, Is sickening to me. The president knows that alot of our troops wont heed that order because it is unconstitutional. Clearing the way for the U.N.. Maybe thats when theya'll just get rid of our govt and form us into a one govt world dominating power?

More than 170 countries have spent the past month in New York negotiating a treaty, which needed to be adopted by consensus, so any one country effectively could have vetoed a deal. Instead, no decision was taken on a draft treaty.

But this leaves the door open for further talks and a draft arms-trade treaty could be brought to the 193-nation U.N. General Assembly and adopted with a two-thirds majority vote. Diplomats said there could be a vote by the end of the year.

So, you've heard of the petrodollar theory, have you? I don't see what is so hard to understand about it. Sorry to have to tell you this, but the petrodollar's role in the war with Iraq, and the desired war with Iran is absolutely about the dominance of the dollar. I trust you didn't google anything.

The only thing keeping the dollar from imploding is its position as world currency. Without that status, the value of the dollar will be gone because it will then be backed by nothing but huge and unpayable debt. It's like a time-bomb.

And there is a replacement currency waiting in the wings. For a couple of years now the IMF has openly called for the dollar to be supplanted by their own SDR (special drawing rights). China and the BRIC nations have now openly called for a shift away from the dollar.
