Agreed. Me and some of my friends sometimes make fun of those ludicrous racists by quoting them. I think context and motive is key in laughing at this shit, or understanding why people like us laugh at this stuff and play with it at times.
When people try to shun me by calling me a racist because of it I hardly can be bothered. I'm willing to set them straight once but if they insist so be it. Some people are overly judgemental on everything that can be perceived racist. But not everything that's pertaining to race or racism is ment to hurt, oppress or discriminate

 

I find some of the terminology funny, because it's so ridiculous. Like "spooks" and "darkies." Stupidity is funny, I can't help it.

 

Oh yes, there are some ridicilous derigotary names in my language as well. Sometimes its just best for the discriminated folks to appropriate them. You know, my nigga? (then they get their panties in a twist when a white person joins in. Here's where motive and intent clearly matters!)
I think the humour in a movie like Django unchained is also excellent and a good example.

 

I like colored. Like aren't all people a color? Yet for a while in America it was a slur for black people. Somehow the NAACP can still use it and it's not as bad as the N word. But among racists I've noticed they still say it as a way to be un-PC. It was fine in the 50's and it's fine now.

I saw a white guy with a shirt that said "this shirt identifies as black so it can say the N-word". Lol ok why would you wear that? Clearly you have issues with gender identity and black people and you are so open with it. Racism and to him he will say he has no free speech. I guess free speech means you can be rude it's sort of the point to say unpopular things. But, society is also free to judge you.

Funny thing is the shirt was actuly black. Why not make it yellow so you can say it's clearly not black but like a good liberal trans I make my own reality? He is failing at his own game.
