There are some mediums you can look into (such as a mirror) and if you are able to hold it just so - you can see God in the reflection of your own face. 1 Corinthians 11:7. As for Christ, He was historically documented by Josephus.
I told you about the Nag Hammadi Scriptures, christians hid them, didnt want them to spread, and banned them from their bible. They do however talk about Jesus and his teachings. I havent found a word of what Jesus has said to be untrue, and frankly, i just trust Him. In the end thats what faith is eh.
Omigod! I'll, like, so check them out, like, right now! Yea sure...i'll also listen to rap music and suck George Bush's dick. Sarcasam, i hope you know.
I think there's enough historical evidence to accept the fact that the man we call Jesus Christ existed. whether or not what's wriiten about him is true you have to look at the fact that 10's of thousands of people, on 3 different continents, were calling themselves his followers within 15 years after he's supposed to have died. That's a hell of lot of people to have fallen for an urban legend if he didn't exist.
I guess youve never heard of those books, otherwise you wouldnt have responded in such a manner. Whatever, its your question, if you dont want to answer thats fine with me.
Just a way of getting your attention I suppose :X, sometimes people won't bother to read, I'm sorry, just thought maybe I could help :& Between the "believers" of "god" (& jesus sometimes) are on group of people who claim one thing & "non-believers" (the atheists or... who ever else) are a group of people who say the opposite thing... So we think, someone has to be wrong? Right?... It's not black and white though, we have options. To pick a side ("religion"), pick to spend energy trying to prove the more honest looking face of two potential liars, or simply that there is not enough information & the situation is inconclusive (of course there's also people who know nothing of this... perhaps small children before they are taught what to believe). The bible IS the basic given reference, not a lot varies unless it starts to lean towards the unbelieving side (christ-wise). I like to believe whatever makes the most sense, and it doesn't have to be wrapped up in the shiney package of religion either. My Mama told me that the best lies are mixed with a little truth (I don't know where she got that, but at least I understand it.)
