Does god hate faggots???

So why are some of the OT laws ignored by Christians today, and others held to?

Also, I really cannot see any logical sense in fundamental Christians.

 

There is logical sense because they are more honest with what the Bible does say. If the Bible does not condone homosexuality, then the fundamentalist, trying to be true to their beliefs, will also be against homosexuality. It is more logical because it accepts the structure of the belief and is more honest with it. The latter only seeks to change it to make it seem moral.

The OT laws are ignored for multiple reasons, because it is said that Jesus fulfilled the law. He altered certain mosaic laws while still accepting certain aspects of it (like men should not lie with men). We can see this because Jesus commended his disciples for giving up same gender relationships they were in.

I'm not a Christian anymore btw, so I'm not trying to speak up fundamentalism just that it is logical within it's own framework.

 

What business does an individual who proudly calls himself an atheist have inquiring about the likes and dislikes of a god? I think this is just a "clever" way to hijack the forum to further ones own bigotry and spiritual repugnance. Using terms like "faggot" says an awful lot about YOU. This is not your space to spread hatred and intolerance.
