Does anyone work retail?

LOL i fucking hate when people do that. I once told a woman I couldn't ring her out cuz she was carrying a small dog (and I'm allergic), and I started sneezing all over her crap.

 

I worked at Nordstroms for about a year, in sales and then personal shopping. I hated the job, but loved the discount. I got 20 percent off as a sales clerk and 35 percent as a personal shopper.

 

You couldn't pay me enough to work retail.

 

I SECOND THAT! retail. they give you the "discounts" because, they want to avoid a rapid turn over in people. without the "discounts" people would quit one hell of alot faster and, that fucks up their bottom line. the "discounts" are not real discounts; even with the "discounts" your being screwed due to the mark up on the "discounts." if you want real discounts... go get a job as a bottom feeder and, you can get rich too without, being shitted and walked upon! if you like being walked and shitted upon... work retail. they just love giving it to you! when i was i college i, took a few business courses. the message was clear. retail is a shit job and, only shit people work shit jobs. who in their right mind would want to work anywhere where upper management thinks their low level workers and low level management are shit people? if you like being abused go work at wal-mart. their the best at fucking not just their own people over but, the taxpayers as well!

 

pff, discounts ar ejust a way for them to get the money they pay you back to them. especially bad with clothing stores, as they typically require you to wear clothes from them (its not as bad with larger stores, but the small ones are obnoxious about it)

 

Currently Im working in the jewelry business. But as a rule, I hate retail.
