...how to get candle wax out of a carpet?
Erm...put paper over it and iron it...all the wax *should* melt and go into the paper.
I'll ask my mom.. hold on.
ok mom says there are 2 good methods. one is put a paper towel over the wax and iron over it on a low setting.(pre-mentioned) the second is use a hair dryer, doing the same thing, with the hairdryer you can pick chunks off as they loosen up.
light it on fire! that should draw the wax out
I'd use it as an excuse to get new carpet !!
Ice usually does the trick Let it sit for a few minutes and it's easy to peel off after... good luck!
hehe messy candlemaker here with some advice...
i do the iron trick with a brown paper bag. put the bag over the wax and iron away, it should get most of it out.
also usually you can pick it out.. yeah i get wax on my carpet lots
After you do the ironing thing and the ice thing and your mom is still yelling at you for getting wax in her carpet, go to a religious supply store. They have stuff that takes the wax out of altar cloths. It works great.
Ive always used the paper bad and iron thing...that or just put on some good tunes and pick it out by hand, a long boring task that only half works ...
