I'll ask my mom.. hold on. ok mom says there are 2 good methods. one is put a paper towel over the wax and iron over it on a low setting.(pre-mentioned) the second is use a hair dryer, doing the same thing, with the hairdryer you can pick chunks off as they loosen up.
Ice usually does the trick Let it sit for a few minutes and it's easy to peel off after... good luck!
hehe messy candlemaker here with some advice... i do the iron trick with a brown paper bag. put the bag over the wax and iron away, it should get most of it out.
After you do the ironing thing and the ice thing and your mom is still yelling at you for getting wax in her carpet, go to a religious supply store. They have stuff that takes the wax out of altar cloths. It works great. Kathi
