Does Anyone Know What Is The Best Concealer To Hide A Black Eye?

I slipped in the tub, and jammed my eye onto the pointy thing where you push up to turn on the shower head, so now my eye is all busted. I tried using the concealer I have, but it just didn't look right, and didn't conceal much. I guess I need a more heavy duty concealer. Maybe one that covers tattoos. Does anyone know any brands?

My eye fucking hurts. I'm going to bed.

on the other paw, you might want to have a doctor take a look at it.

 

You can't just use a regular concealer you need a counteractive colour to whatever colour/stage the bruise is at (google is your friend)

BUT it might be more fun to say to people...you should see the other guy

 

Outside of wearing a football helmet with black makeup, I'd suggest sunglasses

Oh yea, color correcting concealers... I totally didn't think of that. I don't have any color correcting concealers, though. And I forgot the color wheel. I just remember green combats red. Maybe yellow or lavender. ??? There has to be a skin tone concealer out there, though. I would think concealers for tattoos should work, but I don't know any brands. Anyways, thanks.

What you really need is a concealer palette that has different colors which are meant to neutralize different imperfections. Since its a bruise, a green concealer should neutralize the coloration, then apply your normal concealer foundation etc over top of that.

 

I've got one at the moment as well as it goes, took an accidental elbow in it at a ju-jitsu lesson.

 

Might I ask why you want to conceal it? Is it embarrassing? Are you in some position where you can't be seen with a bruised eye?
