I have been looking at dry flower vape devices. I would appreciate anyone who has one or has used one regularly to chime in. Currently looking at a Paxx 3. Right now the biggest CON I see is the price of the device. PRO’s are they are discrete to carry and use, they don’t produce the byproducts of combustion, and you get more out of your flower.

My question is this: Is the Pazz 3 made from plastic?

If so I would not use it, plastics have ways of releasing nasty chemicals when heated. And then inhaled with your vaping.

Safest unit I ever tested was the Volcano, made entirely from metal, the only thing was using the plastic bags to collect the vapors, I preferred using a hose to that, made from surgical tubing which supposedly is safer.

Of course the Volcano was not designed to be portable, but does one really need to be getting high on the go, especially when supposedly working?

Thanks for the reply Zen. The body is aluminum. I’m sure the oven and trays are stainless steel. I am unsure of the material of the mouthpiece. I will email them and find out.

I am looking for something discreet and portable, so when I’m walking the boardwalk or chilling on the beach I can keep my vibe going.

I see a lot of people using oil vape carts or pods. I will pass on the vape oil based ones. Packing a one hitter produces more noticeable odors.

I do like the vapes that have no additives, not even terpenes for flavor. They are pure enough to be consumable safely.

It is a task to find the good ones... reading the ingredients is a good idea if you are unsure. And ORGANIC is definitely something to appreciate.

Glad to hear your device is metal and not plastic. Some of the early versions were plastic, and quite awful. Smart manufacturers probably listened to the consumers, and began producing something of quality... I hope :)

I agree. I have no interest in concentrates. Aside from the solvents involved, the Terp profile just isn’t the same from what people tell me.

I’m not young and dumb anymore. It’s not about having the most potent stuff, or being the highest guy in the room. it’s about the flavor, the wave of effects freeing the mind and body.

I used several vape pens for flower. You miss the filtration other devices offer. And yes they smell like smoking a pipe. Some of the vapes came with a tiny filter but they clog easily and vape gets dirty and smelly.

That was years ago and vapes have improved. I have enjoyed my last vape more than any before, I've used it for months. It tastes great and it's a light invigorating high. I made sure it had no flavorings - the key, and if it was pure. I was more than happy with it.

So I didn't like vaping flowers thru a pen.
