Why else would he stand in front of a moving car or intentionally tick of terrorists w/automatic weapons?
What's worse was he seemed intent to take Marty and Einstein (the dog) with him. This was due to his up to then repeated failures. Of course Doc was nuts. Infact in one reality he succeeded when the Libyans shot him in front of Marty.

You know Doc Brown is a fictional character, right? Just checking.

  4. Why did he wear a bullet proof vest, then?

no, he seemed to have a "zest for life" in my opinion; there is no reason to suspect he wished to die.

Hence the conspiracy. As far as the bullet proof vest it was in one of several realitiies created by the rift in time. Much like the reality in which both Rick and Morty were killed.

The real conspiracy is a DeLorian doing 88 MPH. They never mention any engine swap and that is where my mind goes. They were SLOW cars.

  17. Surely they could reach 88 miles per hour...

You know, Ive never watched the third one

  19. Doc Brown meets a woman in the 1800s and has kids. That's what made me wonder what it was like to make love to Doc Brown. Maybe he gets all somber and romantic. Hopefully he doesn't say "Great Scott!" too much.
