Well, i think its funny to see grown women dress their pets up and go get a professional picture taken with them...(sorry if anyone does such a thing) I mean, when I had my dog, i dont think id take him and get photo shoots of the two of us
I'm not into it at all. In fact, I've never seen a person who does this that I haven't wanted to trip and watch fall
lol i dunno... it makes sense if you think about it. people like to counter vegitarians with things like "well how do you know that plants don't suffer?", shit like that. of course, no one knows. we just know that they don't exhibit the same signs of discomfort that we do. we have no way of really relating to them but that doesn't mean that they don't have a universe of their own feelings wich we could never imagen (yea, far fetched, but totally possible. i don't mean feelings like ours so i don't mean that maybe they have a type of brain). it's relevant to this topic because the same goes for pets except they're usually much more like us than plants. it's obvious when a cat is uncomfortable or in pain. one should be able to tell if fluffy is upset about being put in a bonnet. yet, it can be harder to tell the difference between your pet being submissive and frightend or affectionate and happy to recieve your attention in the first place. i mean, i guess i was just trying to say that it should be obvious if your pet is unhappy (to a certain extent) but beyond that, it's not that unusual for humans to not have a clue about the feelings of another species. like, those are my thoughts on it... /shrug i'm still undecided whether it's good for people to keep pets in the first place or not.
i dont have any pets. i used to have frogs and a few birds...it would be hard to dress them up at work this lady ordered a large icecream cone and then shared it with her dog. even though dogs mouths are cleaner than humans, i still wouldnt do that
Ive always thought that people that do that generally treat them exactly like kids. Maybe they cant have any of their own or what not.
hah yea. sometimes it seems to me that people treat their small children exactly like pets. dressing them up.. trying to get them to play with toys.. being endlessly entertained by the stupid things they do.. giving them treats.. training them..
I personally think it is stupid. dogs and cats have fur to keep them warm, what is the point of putting clothes on them?? I think its just cheesy and idiotic. besides, pets dont look very happy when they have a sweater on. ever notice?
My friend is really really into Judas Priest and he has this little dog and he always puts a Judas Priest shirt on the dog. It is so hilarious to see him walking around with the dog.
