Do You Wear Make-Up Daily??

I wear make-up when i like to, whether i'm out or in my house.. itis just for fun...

 

i always put on some makeup before leaving the house, usually just mascara and eyeliner. when im at home i dont at all. its just friends and my bf who will see me

 

I wear a little "all in one" concealer/foundation/powder finish, daily. I have little red spider veins on my cheeks and they really make me feel self conscious, if not for these veins, I would never wear the stuff.

 

in general i like make-up but i dont wear it daily because it's bad for skin and eyes and so on... i think make up helps a person tin self-expression in some aspects...

 

I wear eye makeup often because I can do about a million different things with it. Experimenting with colors is pretty nice.

I work from home so I don't wear it for the most part. If we are going out to dinner or something I'll wear makeup, but other than that, it's a waste of time and makeup.

 

Okay, here's my take on make up. As an artist, i can see it as a creative kind of expression, and on a rare occasion, if i'm bored enough i'll do somethin cool on my eyes or lips or whatever. but i feel like things like concealer and cover up are so sad. i've had terrible skin my whole life, and for so many years i wouldn't leave the house without concealer on, but after a couple years of that i realize that, one, i don't want to do that, and two, masking my true self didn't make me feel any better, but just worse because i felt like i had to hide something. my skin still sucks, but it's all good, cos i feel beautiful anyway. i think it just has a lot to do with coming to terms with yourself and accepting that whatever the global marketed make-up industry calls your "flaws" are actually what makes you uniquely you. loveeeee

 

I stopped wearing makeup cause I don't give a shit.
I don't wanna have to wear that dirty crap on my face
just to feel pretty.

 

I rarely wear makeup. I don't wear makeup at all in the summertime.

 

I just want to say that whether you wear make up or not, your real beauty is on the inside.

It annoys me when people say oh no I don't wear make up it covers up my natural beauty and they get all preachy to those who wear make up. So maybe those people who do wear make up have insecurities... but doesn't everyone? No ones perfect. just except the person make up or no make up.

 

I do because ATM I have really dark brown hair so I need to do something with my eyes to stop me looking like the walking dead. When I was blonde, I didn't bother much.

 

I don't wear any at all.

 

most days, I am blonde, with very blonde eyelashes so at the very least I wear mascara everyday, but usually a little more than that, the joys of being a pasty faced brit, means that I can looked really washed out and yuck without a little makeup

 

I don't like how some people are getting so preachy. Why shun others for their personal opinion of beauty?

I, personally, used to feel a NEED to wear makeup because I didn't have a very high self-esteem. I believe that's unhealthy, of course, because the media puts this bullshit to look a certain way on your shoulders. But, then, it's impossible to free yourself from the media so there's no reason to think someone is so much lower than you because the media brings them down. It affects us ALL. There's so much weakness in a belief that you're higher than everyone else.

When I stopped shaving I'd realized how much more comfortable with my natural self I was and stopped making makeup a daily thing. It was liberating as fuck for me, honestly. It was liberating to discover that I, as a woman, was more than just a pretty face. It's impossible to free yourself completely from the media's shackles (oohhhh, it's evil stuff.. I could go on forever, heh) but it's always nice to feel liberated.

When I wear makeup it's not because I'm trying to cover up who I am or because I am uncomfortable with myself. I wear on occasion because I genuinely love the art of it. It's honest to god FUN for me to cover my eyes in colour when I'm feeling artsy enough to do it. I know it doesn't take much talent, but I like a little art in all aspects of my life.. it makes me smile. And I'd never give up anything that makes me smile. Yeah.. makeup can be ugly.. I agree. But you have to admit that it's fun.

Just be happy and let others be happy.

i wear foundation because my skin isnt great but other than that its just a bit of mascara and lip gloss, i dont like the feeling of wearing a lot

 

Lately I've been wearing makeup when I leave the house. Just mascara and maybe eyeliner. I just feel more... polished? Makes me feel more energized, looking in the mirror and seeing myself looking more awake.

 

I'm way too lazy to wear make up every day, plus i don't really care what anyone thinks of me really and i feel im relatively attractive so i don't need it. But i do wear it on those days i wnna feel purty or on special occassions.

 

I have some makeup and I like to wear it, but I never think to put it on before I leave the apartment in the mornings. What's more, with all the talk of parabens and other suspected carcinogens in cosmetics, it's enough to scare a girl poo-less. So I'm planning to switch over to "paraben-free" cosmetcs from The Body Shop soon.
