Yes, I wear jewelry. I love stone jewelry a lot of the time. Just love the look of it. Diamonds has never been my thing.
Reading this thread has made me wonder what has happened to "Moonglow". She was part of the fixtures and fittings and she suddenly seemed to close her account.
Watches. I love watches! However, I don't wear any other jewellery. Not even my wedding ring! That's not because of any sinister reason though. After years in the catering trade, I am just used to not wearing anything on my hands.
I love this question! Usually not, but I have a ring. So, the story goes I got my girlfriend a ring awhile ago - more of a fashion accessory than a promise. Certainly not an engagement ring - though I think that's a cute idea. And anyway, I finally told her that I take this thing we have seriously and that I'd like to wear a ring. I told her I'd buy it with my money, but that I wanted her to help pick it out. I put together 4 choices - a, b, c, & d, and she picked one. I bought it, and started wearing it on my right hand; as is customary for relationships in her country. But I have an old knuckle injury there. I had punched the steering wheel of my car in a fit of psychotic rage in 2010 or so; maybe earlier. And the ring was scraping that knuckle when I'd take off the ring to wash up. I told her, and she said it's fine to wear it on the left citing comfort and convenience and all that. So I switched hands, and now it's on my left hand, middle finger. EDIT: I almost forgot! I inscribed it (free inscription with this particular ring) on the inside of the band with the Russian word for love: "Люблю". =-)
I had my earlobes pierced recently and a "Daith" on one ear. It's placed on a horizontal rib of the outer ear, about halfway up the ear. That's kind of a stealth placement as I can't be seen until you're close up. I have faux gauges in my earlobes which are simply black plastic discs. They were in a set of 6 pair, all in different diameters from about 4mm up to 14mm. Plain gold band wedding ring, stamped sterling ring also.
My ears are pierced but haven't worn earrings since I was a Teenager. I do wear a Wedding band & various necklaces my hubby has bought for me on different occasions/Anniversaries
It depends on what you determine as 'jewelry' - Yes I wear wrist watch, I also wear medical alert bracelet detailing the medical conditions I suffer from and I also wear a Cladddagh ring.
