do you wash your feet before going to bed?

Last summer another barefooter I know showed me how he smoothes his feet with a pumice stone, just for like 30 seconds every night before bed, and I started doing that, its made my feet a bit tougher, i generally also wipe them off but i dont wash them really

I only wash my feet before bed if they're really dirty (i.e., black). That usually happens if I've been in the garage. Otherwise I figure there's no problem. It's not like I wake up to find big dirt streaks near the base of the bed.

Going for a walk on gravel footpaths (all too many of those 'round here!) keeps the hard skin down, while at the same time toughens them up.

 

Beach sand works wonderful as well, both in terms of smoothing and cleaning.

Absolutely! I'm barefoot almost all the time so I always wash my feet before going to bed.

 

I never wash mine either. I may brush any loose dirt off, but don't wash them.

 

I never wash at night either. Love dirty feet and like you love to see they're still dirty in the morning. Better yet, even after a shower.

Hmmm...where should I start:

• You don't get callouses from barefooting, only from shoes
• Experienced barefooters know how to watch where they walk, and therefore seldom, if ever, will walk in dog feces.
• Human hookworms are transmitted only through direct contact with soil that contains human feces

Just to keep this on topic, I'll reiterate my preference for washing with a scrub brush and soap frequently.

 

Usually not. My dirty feet get wet in the shower in the morning, but i do not go out of my way to clean them.

 

I do wash my paws before going to bed if they are too filthy. The main reason is i don't like to change and wash the linen every two days, and i really prefer to sleep in a bed with clean linen. Sometimes a second reason is showing some consideration with the one sharing my bed with me. Usually people don't like to snuggle with someone with very dirty feet.

 

well actually... no longer. i thrive in filth like pig pen . my bed mates never complained about , however.
this remembers me of an old saying:


"e' femmene nun se coccano cu' e' ciuccie pecchè stracciano e' llenzola"

I wash my girlfriend's feet and she washes mine Well, we actually shower together before going to bed.

I like my bedspread clean.

 

I had a couple of ex-gf's who loved going barefoot as much as I. One even liked standing on my feet if were in line at a store or fast food. My tops got as black as her soles. We never washed our feet before going to bed. We did like to snuggle up with each other and filthy feet :cheers2:

 

Hi, so i guess you always meet the "right" bedmates, good for you. Probably we both could share a bed without caring for clean feet. But as far as it concerns my own experiences, this is not very usual. My past bf didn't care at all, but my present bf does, but i love him though
