   i don't remember exactly what i had in mind when i posted that. i think i meant it pretty literally regarding the "getting away with" part. like, i think if a man and a woman commit the same crime, the punishment is likely to be worse for the man.

   Well, I covered cops and courts for a long time, and I noticed that certain crimes were more likely to be done by one gender or the other.
   Once it got to court (beyond plea deals, etc) the division was more class than gender.
