my brothers kid will tell you to chill out and go smoke a joint.. even though we're pretty sure he doesnt know what a joint is lol...
I used to give a peace sign in pictures when I was younger, but then I realized I might be seen as the steriotypical "hippy", I felt uncomfortable with that & stopped. LOL
when he was like 2 or 3 we taught him to tell his mom "bitch get your ass back in the kitchen and make me some pie!" but ermmms that didnt last long lol
yup i do everyday its fun everyone thinks your wierd for it but we dont' care! well yesterday we had to do this dumb fun run and run 4 miles and our hippie clan i guess we decided to stay and sit in the grass with our shoes off and play guitar so someone brought out his guitar and we played and sung for like 2 hours it was way groovy and everyone started snickering and we were like if you don't respect us for what we are you don't deserve any respect at all and we made them go away it was way groovy and far out
you want to see a hippy talk to Maygun's mum---she's not so much anymore but she used to be crazay---she calls people cat and is all about peace and stuff--- and she comes up with the cutest hippish outfits
Sometimes I'll give the peace sign, though probably not often enough. I will admit to calling people mama and calling things far out. I have been known to say "karma" to people when they do something nice. "What all do do?" Well, I always feed/talk to the homeless people I see on the street, I get into arguments with people I don't know about how pointless the war is (I'm in SC, mind you... Land o' republicans), I drive a Vanagon covered with political stickers, and... I taught my boyfriend's nephew to hug trees. Now, whenever he sees a tree that has carvings in it he goes "Karma tree!" and hugs it. Muaha. So, all in all, I suppose I'm stereotypical. But does the fact that I grew up surrounded by hippies cause it to make a little more sense?
I dont think it is stereotypical..I think things like that make you a beautiful person...so yay for you And no fair! you grew up with hippies...My parents were hippies for a while then they became like hippie-biker-gang-stoners lol..thay had a dog named boobie :& and my dad's hair was down past his butt when I was born, and at one point when I was really little we watched a show about Hendrix as a family and I didnt know who he was and his reply was "your MY daughter and you dont know who Jimi Hendrix is? What have I been doing wrong?!?!"...now my mom sells insurance and my dad is a businessman...they are still cool (lol they sit around with their friends, get high and watch porn and make fun of each other lol) but I still wish I could have known my parents back then...I bet they were so cool...sigh
Well, being that I don't live in England and that I wouldn't take my children to something like that, I don't think you'll be seeing either of us there. But I look forward to hearing about it (Mike Fest) once it's happened. I'm sure there will be plenty of entertaining stories.
you know what the problem is? that those phrases ARE hippy phrases. you cant say that there isnt a certain thing that defines a hippy because there has to be and like every other clique its the way you talk, dress and act... so everyone stop trying to sound like individuals!
ya but everyone is an individual in there own way, everyone is a hippie in a billion gazillion ways you can be a punk and still be a hippie and you can be a rock n' roll lover and be a hippie or some thing else
yup yup i know this because all of my friends are kinda hippiesh and they all express that in all different ways
Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. All of them. I do everything you have named, but that's because I was raised around thoes slangs.
