It is an unofficial and unreliable weather website. I dont know why some people take it seriously.

It suggests averages for even places where there is no weather station. It is based on estimations. It shows averages for every ****ing place in the world. Lol. A stupid weather website based on estimations.

Even if there is a weather station they still can't call the weather correctly. :p

Parent company was formed by two former google employees that sells 'specialized" weather data to farmers by way of an app

The .org site is just advertising for those services masquerading as not for profit

Erzurum, which is major city in Eastern Turkey has an average low of -15.8°C ( 1981-2010 official averages) but according to climate.data.org, it has an average low of -11.4°C in January.

Nikkaluokta, which is a swedish village, has an average low of -21.5°C in January officially but according to climate.data.org, the village has an average low of -15.5°C in January.

Examples can go on like that.

I argued with members on a weather forum for them using this unofficial website as a source. I became neurotic on that forum. It was simply a joke weather forum.

What year range is the average low on climate data org? If they used different years there will likely be a different average.

You won't state the years, so I can't say it's long term or just the last 5 years, which could be very different averages.

From 1982-2012 I believe. Smilar years.

Man, climate.data.org shows averages for even places where there is no weather station. It is based on estimations. It is not like they have weather stations all over the world. It is an unofficial weather website based on estimations.
