On average, I drink a mean volume of 1-2 oz liquor or 1-2 beers a day, considering 6 beer days and a few 0 beer days. I'm a really big fan of white russians and the glenlivet. also, the occasional few glasses of my homemade 75-80%, highly wormwood-concentrated power-absinthe. e: lol I thought the title just said "do you drink?" yeah I share drinks. I love buyign people drinks and I usually share with everybody. I smoke joints so I'd be a hypocrite not to.
Well, I've shared pipes and bongs with a LOT of people, and I'm not often above taking a sip of someone else's drink if they want me to try it, but I don't usually straight up share a drink with anyone but my husband, He used to get mad at me for backwashing but I've taken great lengths to avoid it. I usually end up nearly drowning myself. Sooo most the time, I drink from my own cup or bottle.
I only with my wife. I haven't had a Dorito in like a year. My stepdaughter always gets to the bag first and refuses to pour her share into a bowl. She has to eat out of the bag, and I'm not sure if I have ever known her to wash her hands as an adult.
I don't really have a problem with it. I'll share with my friends as well as family. I wouldn't share with a stranger or even an acquaintance, that's just weird.
There is no way bringing out my innermost scream more than these words here."Can I have a sip?" Or "Let me taste some of that". Person proceeds to pick up whatever it is you're drinking. WTF! are they doing? Are they actually placing your drink to their crusty ass mouthpiece? Seriously? ! No! I...just...can...not. ..deal.
lol orison... I have never met someone who smoked weed and wouldn't share a joint or bowl with other people... well, I mean I've been sick before with a cold and packed a separate bowl for myself and for other people because of that... but yea Matter of fact tho I'm pretty sure I remember getting sick right after parties and sharing j's or bowls with lots of people. Wait, pretty sure? Totally sure. Shrugs. Sharing drinks? Eh, not often. And def when they are almost empty. A sip when a friend's drink is almost full and they are not sick? Not a huge deal though. But honestly...can't remember the last time that happened as I'd have my own drink usually. Yea.
lol, Yeah, the whole stranger or someone you barely know would be weird. Sometimes I accidentally take a drink of someone else's drink at work, but I always change their straw for them after I realize it. And then I get kind of excited because it's new germs for my immune system to practice on. I like giving my immune system practice, it sucks when I actually do get sick, but that doesn't happen very often. I have an immune system with some experience.
I learned my lesson when I was 19 and at a rave in Philly.... was rolling and dancing...dancing and rolling... had a water, lost track of where I put it and ended up picking up a random water because I needed a drink of water.... 15 hours later, I had had a horrible experience and found out that I had consumed ghb-surely in a random water that I had picked up. So, yea, didn't do that again.
I am going to agree with Rainyday, we kiss, but it's not the same as sharing a drink for some reason. I see people sipping from babies drinks and sharing their food and maybe that's why it isn't easy for me either. My friend was letting his kid eat and drink from his own water bottle. I saw backwash floaties in it and that was enough for me even tho I don't think I shared before that. People share tooth brushes because they kiss,,, yuk! It's even been said by places like WebMD and the like that this is not a good idea. if someone asks me to taste their drink for some reason I have,,,
Sharing toothbrushes etc is nasty. I have shared a toothbrush with a couple people I was sleeping with but that is it and even don't like doing that. For one, cavities are contagious.
broinlaw hasnt changed the bong water since last summer. I wouldnt dare smoke out that thing. Its a major health hazard. I dont share joints, no.. I just roll a second one and give it to them. I have a compromised immune system but thats not the only reason. Im just weird like that..
No, I don't share food or drinks with people. Orison mentioned sharing joints and bowls with people. I used to smoke weed with people all the time, and at the time you never think of how nasty it is to put your lips on the same joint or bowl other people have had their's on, and that it's really no different than drinking out of the same glass or eating off the same plate.
Yea, I agree. There's a lot of people who may not share drinks but share bowls/joints. And as mentioned... I do specifically remember coming down with colds after parties and sharing bowls.
Not something I tend to do but I will say when the kids were really little the would sometimes ask for a sip of what I was drinking and that was fine. Not something they would do today.
