Do you Play any Instruments?

I wish wish wish I had some tablas. AND a SITAR.

 

you can pick them up off the internet really easily and there not that expensive!

and i would love to have a sitar aswell, there amazing!

 

I will have to look and see. I'd better get one before jack white uses one in a song and then everybody wants one.

have you ever gotten to play a sitar? I saw one in a shop once but it was in the high shelf behind the counter and that is about the same as putting a "do not touch" sign on it.

 

yeah i have, i wasnt very good haha, there awkward to play but after a while you get used to it but they sound so awesome, and its really relaxing

 

yeah! I found a stack of Ravi Shankar vinyls at a second hand shop and I listened to those and that daydreaming was better than sleeping.

I play guitar. It is my life. I play at least 6 hours total a day. My hands hurt.

I been playing for 4 1/2 years and love it more every time I play. I dig playing the blues, funk, and a few other things.

I use a Fender Telecaster through a Marshal Mg15dfx. S'all I need.

 

Iam learning the guitar. I want the saxophone, piano and trumpet. lol

 

Ohh awesome job dude. Iam molding my stuff together still.

i play synthesizer.

 

It can take awhile before you have the sound you are looking for, but once you get it, its a real "ta-da" moment. Just keep practicing.

 

lol ive been waiting awhile for that and its been driving me crazy.

 

Stop waiting and start playing. I know you might not know what that means, but you'll find out. I was doing the same thing you are, I was waiting for myself to get good, but you just gotta play what sounds good within your abilities all the while practicing harder and harder bits and songs. You'll get it man, its an art and the speed you get better is based on how much you practice, what you practice and how much you love it.

 

I played like that for most of 09 and the beggining of 10. Lately ive been going on like little breaks. I played a couple of hours the other day. Its been varying. I cant stay on that for as long as i once did so i give myself small breaks until iam able to and yesterday that happened. lol I just finished learning the G major scale or the the A Dorian and iam working on Chords. Molding stuff together. Id say by June if i play like the way ive been playing ill be a decent guitarist, like actually be able to post videos on youtube which would be awesome.

Id love some lessons on classical so id be able to play like Mozart on the acoustic.

same here brah I know exactly what you mean. I can play guitar pretty well, and I'm decent at keys and percussion. but I mostly I just screw around on shit... I have a decent number of instruments from banjo to french horn, harmonica, recorder, kalimba, xylophone, etc. but I can't really play any worth shit lol so I just improvise and throw stuff together
