I personally would not participate in the fur industry, but neither would I waste the pelts. I would tan them myself then make something warm to wear.

I saw a really nice 8point buck today..... I pulled up next to it with my truck, I could have grab its antlers lol, and had my hand out 6'' from its fur.. It just stood there. if i hadnt of drove to far up I could of petted it.. then I drove off. It looked sad in my rv-mirror as if to say "where you going?"..

 

chill out wolf. i was just pointing out that they were valuable.

 

I'm scared that if I owned a gun, I would use it.

 

No vibe, jimmy man, no worries. If some farmer needed some 'rat's or beav's exterminated from his pond or fields I might consider selling the pelts I could not process myself, but in general I don't want to be associated with that kind of thing.

I was thinking... guns are like pot. People want it. its hard to legally obtain it. When we finally can acquire it we need to have a license to posses it and even then you can only have it in your state.

It is possible that a gun might save you and your family from someone who intends to do you harm. So if you buy one for protection, it doesn't make you a bad person. Take it somewhere and learn to shoot accurately, learn how to keep your gun clean. Get some ear plugs so you don't go deaf when you practice.
And never use it to escalate a conflict. If you have anger issues, it is better to have a pillow fight than a gun fight.
