I am constantly making lists for various reasons with bullet points and everything. Sometimes math is involved. I feel it is a consistent way to make sure certain tasks are done and the exact things are bought that are needed. Without a list, it is going into the world unprepared.
I never make lists, since although my memory is bad, I have a logical chain of thought. I mostly buy food items depending on the quality and price of what is on the shelves. Jane makes elaborate shopping lists, but when she arrives at the shops, she remembers that she has left them om the kitchen table. LOL.
very rarely. the only list i can think of making somewhat regularly is a list of topics i need to discuss when i get a meeting with my boss, because if i forget one i sometimes won't get a chance to talk to him about it for several days. i never make shopping lists, but then grocery shopping is super easy for me since i don't cook.
I add bookmarks. Lots and lots of bookmarks... I need a grocery list, and I write down lists of stuff I have to do at work.
I make a grocery list every like 8th time I go grocery shopping because by the 7th time I'm tired of juggling the mental list in my head. But I never forget anything without a list, yet with a list I always leave something off I do a quick budget every paycheck , not sure if that counts as a list That's about it
If you don't have a list you just end up buying shit. and then the next list is a workout routine. lol. to work off all the shit you just bought and ate.
Sometimes I feel super type A until I think about things like making lists and how I dont do things like that. Maybe there is hope for me after all
sometimes, if i've forgotten to get something i need the last time i went to the store, i'll make a list to make sure i don't forget next time. i used to make wish lists when i was little, and what i'd do if i magically found myself with x amount of spare cash, but too often, ended up thinking this was maybe jinxing that from happening, you know, like jobs i didn't get and that sort of thing, so mostly i avoid doing that now. besides my priorities are so well set, its almost impossible to forget them. sometimes i need to make small or partial lists to avoid overlooking or forgetting well worked out details though.
I always wanted to use a diary for a whole year and not just the first few weeks. I had a huge wall calandar last year which I used for the first few months to log my pool stats on but then after that it sat on May until I threw it out end of year lol.
Never Take Lists To The Supermarket Just Rely On My Memory Bank......On The Subject Of Keeping A Diary I Have Kept One Since 1984 Without Fail...... Cheers Glen.
