I have another Johnny Cash book up in my nightstand I think. I'm sure there are 1 or 2 more floating around my house somewhere. I have everything from Johnny Cash to the Clash to Charles Manson to Chelsea Handler to travel books to Elvis to Electrical basics to a book about strange deaths to a book called The Theory and Practice of Group Psychotherapy from 1931 that my dad got me as a joke for xmas one year.

There is a website called paperbackswap that you can do that. It's pretty awesome. Its how I get a lot of my books so I don't have to buy them. It's free. You just have to be willing to give up your books. The only cost is shipping when someone requests one of your books. It's pretty awesome.

Interesting books. I can't make out some of them on my phone. That bookshelf is a lot neater than any of mine.

I don't mind being a little nerdy too. I read almost every night for about 2 hours or more after my wife falls asleep.

I saw Dune the movie in '84 when I was in high school. The movie got bad reviews. People I know that read Dune said that the movie could have been a lot better because the book was really good. Someone should do a remake and do it right this time.

I'm so jealous of your guys' book shelves. I would never show mine. Book trading sounds like a good idea, though, but I'm pretty horrible with putting stuff in the mail. If I can pay someone to take care of postage I'm in...like netflix style.

Also I was totally going to post a thread about defining the term "nerd".

Is it weird that I wanna read the Nicole Richie book?

On that paperbackswap website you can put money on there and print out postage for the books so you don't have to go to the post office. You just have to get it in a mailbox.

I haven't read that book yet but after I do I can send it to you if you want it.

Damn, that's kinda awesome! I think might join. I definitely experience post-ending depression. I have a few books I'd be happy to get rid of. Maybe one that I really want to keep, but at the same time I want more people to read it.

My books are all over the place though, not in one book shelf, I have several places for books.

    Hello,

good collection. Nothing beats a good calculus book or number theory book near your bedside ;). But what's that? Mysql? Excel? Access? Time for a great bonfire, hu?

Please say hello to your wife and tell her I have said the shelves are OK as they are.

    Regards
    Gyro
