do you like the new set-up?

perhaps it is me and i have a hard time adjusting to change. i like the ability to personalize my posts more. but i don't like the set-up?!!
do you think it'll take time to get used too?

I've been to alot of forums with this set up so it should be easy. I don't like it as much though, it's not as original as the other set up.

i have seen others with this set up as well. and i avoid them. but being as how i love you all. i wont be going anywhere. but this is tooooooo much for my brain today!

 

Somebody "F"ed up and the "Hipforums" got deleted. Now this is the new one.

If you want to ignore someone you put them on your "ignore list" then instead of seeing thier posts all you see is
"This message is hidden because "Insert name here" is on your ignore list.

i'm just out to lunch right now...kinda hard for me to function in the morning, especially when this new set up is thrown in my face.

 

i tend to avoid forums with this format, cos they confuse me!!!!!

I liked hipforums cos the format was orginal and easier to use...is there anyway they could get it back to the way it was? Skip?

I've been posting on hipforums for about three years, it feels so weird now...it's like when you are used to visit your mates in a place and everything is great then your friends move to some other place and it takes you a while gettting used to it.
analogy is not my strongest point!

anways, i like that you can type coloured messages and there are other features that I need to get acquainted with, but it seems fine. clean. no many posts yet, but everyone will come back eventually.

but right now i'm really not liking these new forums, but i'll just have to get used to it
and where are the personal forums?! i miss through the looking glass!

 

I kind of did like the old ones better, myself.. and I am not one that hates change. But that's ok, I'll get used to this one too. I am just on the edge of my seat right now waiting for my supporter status to come back as well as my personal forum!

 

the old forum was unique I post on a lot of forums and hip forums was by far my favourite in layout
this present forum looks mass produced and cold dont like it

 

The new set up confuses me a bit, but i think i can get used to it. i like the calendar option! I also like the colours. woot!

 

This is going to take a lot of getting used to for me.

thats the thing. i don't normally have a problem w/ change. but this is too confusing to me. i miss it the other way

 

It is hella confusing, but I really do think that i will get use to it. I too, usually avoid forums like this, but like Marie I love so many people on here that I am here for the long haul.
