Made me think of Jimmy Buffet in South park. Thanks for that!

  5. I hate how overproduced Phil Collins' music is. Especially his voice. How many tracks does he lay over it, fifty?

Ah so you do like it raw and wild! (talking about rock here people..!)

  7. I sure do. But I also really just don't like any of Phil Collins' songs, so there's that, too. I mean, some overproduced 80s music I can get into. I just like music that's not making any pretense. I don't think Phil Collins is making pretense, but I just don't like his songs.

This is the second time in the last couple of days your syntax has reminded me of a famous writer. You said something the other day about being gloomy or sad, i cant remember exactly but it was honest and direct and made me think of Hemingway. And this reminds me of JD Salinger, sort of like Holden's voice in Catcher in the Rye, how he didnt like phonies

Well thats all, you may now return to your regularly scheduled program

  9. Everybody's always saying I should be a writer. They've been saying that since I was a little boy. I try a bit, here and there. I'm just so pissed off, though. I will probably end up writing something fantastic, maybe when I'm an old man. In the meantime I'm just going to be a curmudgeon, though. Despicable people.

  14. Excellent music. But I still can't get over how much he looks like Squiggy from Luverne & Shirley.

i don't understand what is meant by "too artsy".

unless it means like a glass sculpture or something that's too easily broken.

anyway i liked genesis back in the day, but its been decades since i've listened to anyone with a big name like that, so i have no idea about anything they may have done in the last ten or fifteen years.

most of the individual musicians in big name bands like that, someone mentions their name, and i'm like, "who?", then they mention the name of the band and i'm like, "oh".

almost every popular band has like at leas two guitar players, and i'm supposed to remember all of their names? keyboardists i'm a little better with, because there's not as many, and like horn and wind players, but i'm still, not really good at remembering entertainer's names.

This is my favourite scene from the movie. But to be honest I care as much about business cards as I do about Phil Collins' music, which is not very much.
