a better description is not "dating online" but rather "finding someone online to date and go to the movies or dancing with". Nobody's talking about "virtual dating".
Just because that is dating to you doesn't mean that a couple who decidesto date differently is "a loser". I would agree that my definition of "dating" would also include going out on dates in person, but my definition of someting doesn't make it everyone elses "reality". And it doesn't make them a loser for seeing things differently. And meeting people to date online is very common.
Thank you Mike. That is all I wanted to know. Because the original poster had written it as "Internet dating" visavis, like virtual dating, nothing was mentioned about either meeting or going out. Hence my perceived interpretation. But I would still not ever meet someone online, I don't believe in it. I guess I'm old fashioned that way but I like to see people first in the flesh. But then again I'm no longer looking anyway..never did really.
how did our grandparents' gen survive without color tv? how did our great grandparents' gen survive without any tv? how did our great great grandparents' gen survive without cars? progress is constant. nothing wrong with taking advantage of current technology.
exactly my point, they got along fine. Technology is ruining our abilities to socialise in a normal manner. We've become so dependent on it, we will be useless at doing anything without is soon.
I still don't get the relevance sorry? I don't get a lot of things though, so that is not unusual. I've been meaning to write a thread about certain disabilities. Just haven't gotten around to it yet.
