punitive does not ONLY create a vicious dynamic. if a teenager drives drunk, take away their fucking license and their car. if a teenager drives sober and sloppy and keeps fucking up their shit, take it away from them and let THEM buy the next one. that's punitive AND effective.

if a person pays way too much attention to garbage, they deserve to have their head filled with garbage.
