I'm a chili or beef stew guy, but I'm looking forward to trying out this recipe.

    Slow Cooker Kielbasa And Cabbage

    Ingredients:

    1 head cabbage, diced
    2-3 potatoes, chopped
    1 onion, diced
    14 oz Kielbasa sausage, sliced
    1 cup chicken broth
    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/2 teaspoon onion powder
    2 tablespoons vinegar
    2 tablespoons mustard
    Salt and pepper to taste

    Directions:

Layer cabbage, potatoes, and onions in the slow cooker.
Mix chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, vinegar, and mustard together in a separate bowl. Pour mixture over veggies.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
Cook on low for 6-8 hours, until potatoes are tender.
Before serving, brown the sausage in a skillet over medium heat and stir into crock pot.

That does sound really good, I'll have to try it.
I eat pretty much nothing but soup in the wintertime. Minestrone soup, vegetable soup, italian wedding soup, chicken noodle soup, taco soup, tomato soup, potato soup...those are the ones in my constant rotation, occasionally I'll mix it up and throw in something different.
I've been eating on a big pot of minestrone soup all week

Whoa, I have a coworker who makes some fantastic potato soup. She hasn't given me the recipe yet but she brought some in to work for me one day. It had bacon in it.

sometimes I can get away with putting cinnamon and nutmeg in a cup of hot coffee, but it's not always the right time for that. I guess I have to be in the right mood if it's going to do anything for my mood.

Dude what do live in the tropics or something?

Summer: Coleslaw, potato salad, chicken parmesan, egg salad sandwiches. Hot-dogs, hamburgers, mac and cheese

Fall:: Pot Roast, Mashed potatoes, butternut squash, Pumpkin Pie, Apple Strudel, Beef stew, Harvest Chili, Cranberry Cobbler, spiced pear, just to name a few.......

Winter: Minestrone Soup (really any type of soup) etc…………..

    i wish.

i just don't see why you couldn't eat any of those things at any time. other than things that are only available seasonally, but with modern farming techniques there's really not much of that left.

  9. Just Thanksgiving. When I get my new place, I'm going to make some real mashed potatoes. I haven't had any good mashed potatoes in years.

I wish I hadn't lost my dad's stuffing recipe. That shit was like crack.

Not really. I eat the same stuff year round. Also, I didn't realize you ate anything that wasn't lasagna.

I’m a bit of a traditionalist and living in a place which is defined by the four seasons, it’s easier to resist chance and maintain the old ways

The Closest I Have Ever Come To Falling Was After A Bottle Of Champagne..(or 2 )..:yum:...And It Wasn't

So Much As A "Fall".......More Like A "Stumble" And Quick Recovery...... :D

I never really feel like eating hot food in the summer. I do a lot of sandwiches and raw veggies and dip when it's hot
And when it's cold I crave hot hearty food that sticks to your bones
