isnt it though.... actually im gonna craft a cardboard sword and paint it silver, maybe it will fool someone...
you don't have a sword, but you own a sword...... it was in relation to the above post.... I woulda quoted them both in the first place if I knwe this would happen....
I own a couple of riffels. I used to go to the shooting range once in a while. Now they are locked in a very safe place................. ~namaste~
she meant that she doesnt have a sword that she uses for protection or to kill anyone, she uses her swords for the self-fulfillment and enjoyment..
Fot gun owners, why do you own a gun? I know so many horror stories of people who owned guns for "protection" and ended up killing themselves or their loved ones by mistake.
I've gotta ruger (.22) and a shoty (.12) a couple swords, a couple knives, I've got pepper spray on my key chain, and I think I've got some nunchucks somewhere. I'm a pretty chill person though. I don't think I'd ever shoot anyone. If someone tried to take my wallet I'd probably just let em have it. I don't have much cash on me ever anyway.
A guns a pretty simple mechanic, point the trigger at what you want to stop, and pull trigger. It's nearly impossible for a competent person to accidently shoot themselves. Don't point it at people, and nobody will be accidentaly shot.
The thing is, pulling a gun escalates the danger in a situation. If the attacker feels threatened, there's a chance that they might pull a gun as well, THEN
The thing is, pulling a gun escalates the danger in a situation. If the attacker feels threatened, there's a chance that they might pull a gun as well, THEN there's the chance that someone could DIE. It is not nearly impossible for a competent person to accidently shoot themselves in the least.
I think we shouldn't have guns at all, but because that's an impossibility, I think all guns should hold tranquiliser darts.
Like I said, I wouldn't pull a gun if I we're robbed. Only if I felt like I was in danger, if I feel like my life is in danger, theres no need to fear escalation. You should only have a gun ready to shot before you shoot, so accidently shooting yourself is a sign of an inability to handle a firearm.
Yes, but then how many people are there who feel threatened, panic, and misuse the weapon and shoot themselves or a family? Do you agree with the tranquilizer dart idea?
How about water pistols? I mean, if you get a super soaker going those things are pretty hardcore. I wouldn't wanna rob someone who could drench me. No joke.
