I'm hoping to apply for a job at a health food store/apothecary this summer when I turn 15. Thatd be pretty cool, seeing as I've bought a ton of stuff from them and would love to work there.
me too, sister. and right now, it's the beginning of summer..........yay tourists... ( serenity now, serenity now.....)
I volunteer regularly at a no-kill animal shelter. They don't pay me, but I wouldn't want them to. I like being able to work for free. Granted, I'm looking for paying work, but it's difficult during the summer considering that I have classes and most employers are looking for full-time people. I've held some pretty great jobs in the past.
i work at a fish and chips shop as casual staff 2 days a week the customers are really nice, but the dead fish, terribly compelecated cash registers and stress of getting things done gets too me. At least i have a job... maybe one day i will do something that i will enjoy and be reali passionate about. Ive always dreamt of owning a small bussiness with my husband(if/when i get one) or maybe work with children.
I work in Tesco in summer to earn some money for festival and concert tickets but my dream job is biologist. That's what I really wanna do after university.
I'm too young to have a regular job, but sometimes I get to ref little kids' soccer games. It's not too bad, and I get $15 for reffing a 50 minute game.
I have the best job in the world. I get to make people happy and feel better everyday. I am a massage therapist.
I have not had a "regular" job for nearly 35 years. I have only done odd job housecleaning, at-home piece work, orchard and garden work, and people and land caretaking for over three decades. I am home six days , going to town only once a week. I have always been able to find work exchange for rent living situations, and are willing to live at poverty level, so that I can stay at home, have fun, and enjoy my life. I live simply so I have time for creativity. I make hats, rugs, and other crafts and sell them when I can, and the money trickles in and somehow we make ends meet.
I'm self-employent, a clay artist, the hrs are good, the work is easy and fun, I work when I wants to and at home ,and it pays the bills , if my boss was not sure asshole at times , it would be great LOL
I hope I'll have cool job in a few years, for the next 5 year I'll be studying at the College for civil engeneering, so I guess it provides me chances for cool jobs... Right now I would like to find a summer job and anyone I find would be cool because it would be a great opportunity to experience new things, meet new people and learn new stuff... So, I guess all jobs are cool in some way....
