Do You Haiku?

Sounds like there's a story behind that one, among others

 

Yea, a friend of mine was cheated on, and my advice was to move on. Of course, easier said than done. :/

 

Sometimes advice is not the thing that someone needs most (says me as I give you advice)

Expressing the sentiments in your haiku to your friend might be more valuable. Just so your friend knows you wish you could take the pain away. Maybe spend some time with them.

 

True. You are a wise one, newbie one. That tends to be my advice in general when feeling wronged-just delete the person from your life. I know that it isn’t always that easy.

I have haiku block
My mind is totally blank
Need inspiration

 

An empty mind is
The beginning of a full
Satisfied stomach

 

Deck the halls with boughs
of holly, fa la la
la la la la la

Yay, it worked.

 

We sometimes think that
others hold the key to our
happiness; they don't.

 

Curling wisps of smoke
Swirl around me like tendrils
An empty caress.

 

A dead koala
Gazed upon the starry sky
And guessed correctly

 

Roses are red, Vi
olets are blue, don’t think this
Counts as a haiku

 

A haiku its not
its not even close
its a quick little poem
of that you can boast

 

Ohhh okay

 

Okay she says
to my little rhyme
I hope she's not mad
at me this time
