A liminal space

 

Humid air clinging
Icing trees with silver dew
Droplets glittering

 

Finding out some news
New culture, new food, new mood
Life is full of change

 

Her birthday is near
Shall I play as the husband
Or be her lover

Card and cake are good
I will put some cake on her
Eating will be fun

I have much to say
The card will read from my heart
Expressions of love

It will be her day
Anything she wants to do
Maybe she does me.

I've come a long way
Boyfriend husband caregiver
I will keep going
