There are tons of government programs out there that millions of people that need em' are missing out on. These gov't programs are eligible to anyone, but seniors making over 50k receive more government funding than seniors making under 50k.. its not only the poor who receive government funding, its also the wealthy... you cant bitch at a person for taking advantage of government programs that exist... Mui, I think you may be reading too much into this. Yes, there are flamers who've met your description. But a lot of us (myself included) said it's not attractive, being a musician is a lot more work than a regular 9-5 day, and that they should look into other options (different meds, a work-at home job) to try and move forward from the disability cheques.

And some of us don't live in the states and didn't say word one about "taking my hard earned money" (which yes, is hard earned since I bust my butt for minimum wage every bloody day). * The mortality rate among people with anorexia has been estimated at 0.56 percent per year, or approximately 5.6 percent per decade, which is about 12 times higher than the annual death rate due to all causes of death among females ages 15-24 in the general population.22

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

* ADHD, one of the most common mental disorders in children and adolescents, affects an estimated 4.1 percent of youths ages 9 to 17 in a 6-month period.23
* About two to three times more boys than girls are affected.24
* ADHD usually becomes evident in preschool or early elementary years. The disorder frequently persists into adolescence and occasionally into adulthood.25
