What neighbor do I hate. If you think I advocate hate in any form, you have not comprehended what I said.

The holy spirit, and the bible, are not identical things.
The verse in second peter says not one thing about the bible.

I never said every one who does evil is good in the sight of the lord. I said
everyone is a god created them, holy, in the image and likeness of god, and the perception that he is evil is caused by the one who judges him to be so.

Every sin will be forgiven except blaspheme against the holy spirit.
Either make the tree good and it's fruit good, or make the tree bad and it's fruit bad.

For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. The good man out of his good treasure, brings forth good. and the evil man out of his evil treasure, (treasuring evil), brings forth evil . The measure, [rate for goodness], you give, is the measure [the amount of good], you receive.

Men will render account for every careless word they utter. By your words you will be justified and by your words you will be condemned. Not by the words in the bible.

The holy has not taught me to love what is bad. The holy spirit taught me that god is the only measure of good. the spirit also teaches that gods word is a living word residing in the heart, and for this you tell me I have an unclean spirit.

An evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign.

But the very existence of the time as presence of sinning is unrealistic , and in a sense we are already forgiven into the timeless Idea of national language per Consciousness of the essentially forgivable imaginary Love in communion for the Realistic Spirit of realizable rationality of Good Judgment about the absolutely eternal.

This is better than PHysics physically explained, but depends on Physics per forgiveness.

    Forgiveness restores this sight.

What a revolutionary idea, to forgive rather than punish. How much healing can we approach through unconditional positive regard. Punishment alienates, shattering the whole community.

Neither prison nor fortress has kept us safe. New wine is meant for new skins.

Only love can see us through to a new heavenly paradigm on earth.

We are conscripted to bring the miraculous to bare.

No, you don't advocate it but it's what you do.
    Duh.
So you say but you are in the minority in believing so.
So God is causing the "perception that he is evil", and you say your "holy spirit" is leading you to God.
That would include calling something the Holy Spirit when it is not.
    Yep.
    Yep.
No but by the God that put them there.
Okay but it has taught you not to hate what is bad and that is what God has asked you to do. Is the Holy Spirit speaking out against what God has commanded?
Yes God is the only measure of good. As for "gods word is a living word residing in the heart", have you not read the heart is more treacherous than anything else and is desperate? Trusting in it instead of God's word is a dangerous thing.
Taken out of context but I'm not seeking a sign, Jesus told his followers what to look for and those signs are all around us. It would be unloving not to point out to others that the kingdom that Jesus taught us to look for is near.

I think they are hard...very, very hard sometimes.
However, we are promised that nothing will be placed on us that we cannot handle.

    Thanks Lynnbrown.

I too think God's expectations can be hard but that's just because we are imperfect.
But then God doesn't expect perfection from us, only that we do our best.
It's good to remember that God only wants what is best for us and it is only by following the principles and reminders of God that we can get the most out of life.

In organized religion "gods expectations" are usually MANS bullshit rules made up to control the masses. Now free your self of these chains and find the courage to create your own expectations and reason for living. Be free! Be independent!

Are you saying I hate my neighbor, based on what evidence?
You respond duh, But you claim that the bible is in fact the holy spirit

from the Holy Spirit, God's Word the Bible. Quote end quote.
I am not in a popularity contest and further you have not made statistical analysis on peoples belief. What possible difference could a majority opinion make? Opinion is opinion not fact.
No I said, The good man out of his good treasure, brings forth good. and the evil man out of his evil treasure, [treasuring evil], brings forth evil . The measure, [rate for goodness], you give, is the measure [the amount of good], you receive. If evil is your truth, it comes out in the defense of evil.
You simply do not understand the meaning of this verse, at all.
Is the tree of god given humanity evil, or good. God created man and saw that it was good. Your vision of your brother is polluted. For judgment I have come into the world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may become blind. If you were blind you would have no guilt, but now that you say, we see, your guilt remains.

You say yep, but you do not comprehend the meaning.
You are condemning in your own speech, it is what comes from the abundance of the heart. I tell you you are not judged by the bible the bible is a book.
My teacher says judge not, for the measure you give will be the measure you receive. You are mistaken that god teaches hate. Either let the tree be good and it's fruit good or let it be bad and it's fruit bad.
Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. The holy spirit, because I have asked, teaches me all things. You would do well not to condemn your brother for your beliefs. It is gods word I trust.

If it is easy, it probably is not good for you. I've stated this before, and I really believe it.

Though this is specific to the majority of Christians (Catholics and the Orthodox), Confession is not an easy thing to do in that it is hard to take a good look at our actions regularily and see where we do fall, and then to express that verbally, not just in some abstract sense to God, but addressed to God's ordained ministers who act in persona christi. Conffession though, is incredibly important for the safety of our souls.

Christianity is not an easy faith to hold, as some may make it out. That is to say, there are expectations, they are at times hard (not just to be a "nice guy" and "tolerant").

I don't believe that any sort of deity that there might be would hold any type of "expectations" of humans...to me that doesn't make sense. Why do we think we're so important that such an all powerful state of being would set these boundaries for us? It seems to me that humans have created the idea of expectations so that we can place expectations on each other to keep each other in line. All because human's can't stand JUST doing the right thing? We can't handle that...of course not. We have to have this omnipotent being there to tell us what to do...including who we should love and what sex they should be.

    Love is love.

Jesus would have said to love everyone....regardless of who they are attracted to.

*edit: Didn't see the whole "For Christians ONLY" description. But that's part of my beliefs*

My yoke is easy and my burden light. It is easier to be happy than to be troubled.

We become troubled when we begin to defend the right. Would you prefer to be happy, or would you prefer to be right. Anxiety is caused by the misapprehension of what is so. Suspension of judgment, forgiveness, eases the mind so that it may observe the comfortable truth. God loves his son.

The hardness of God's expectations do not make me unhappy, just that it does require effort.

St Paul wrote that his beloved in Philipi should, "with fear and trembling work out [their] salvation". (Philipians 2:12)

Do you even bother to read what you write? You say don't judge yet you do, you say love and yet much of what you say to me does not show the love you recommend.
I have never claimed that the Bible is the Holy Spirit.
As usual you take something out of context and try to make it say something that it just doesn't say. This is a good example of what you constantly do to the Bible.

Let's take look at how far you will go to twist what has been written.
This is what I actually said:
You see what was actually said in context was that the Bible is a product of the Holy Spirit, which it is. But by your taking out of context and twisting what was said you try to make it look like something was said that is wholly a product your imagination. Where is the love?
True, Opinion is opinion not fact. Too bad you don't realize that. The fact is that your opinion on the matter at hand is just that your opinion and not based on any facts. The only reason someone could say that the word Scripture, in this context, does not refer to the Bible is that in some other contexts it does not. The simple fact is that in this context the word scripture is referring to what we call the Bible.
Let's see, is it that you don't believe evil exists, then why are you talking about it or is it that you don't hate evil because you are suppose to love everything and thus you love evil? What you believe seems so contradictory it's hard to keep track of what you do believe.
Really? If you understand it so well then why do call what is not Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit or do you really believe the Holy Spirit is divided against itself?
What in the world are you talking about?
    Yes he did.
No, my view of my brother is in harmony with God's Word and not based on what you have "dreamed" up.
According to the KJV the scripture actually says:
39And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.
40And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?
41Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.

And here I thought you believed that sin doesn't exist.

What's to understand, it seems pretty straight forward to me. Oh wait, Yeah you're the one that thinks mankind is still dreaming or something like that, what meaning have you dreamed up for this one?
I do not judge or condemn, it's not my job. I merely have pointed out to you that you continue to disagree with the Bible and thus God and his Holy Spirit. I do so lovingly because do not want to see you stand before God and have to explain your opposition to him and the Holy Spirit.
If I am mistaken then God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit are mistaken and that seems pretty good company to stand with.
Then why do you continue to contradict the Holy Spirit, God and God's Word the Bible?

    With all seriousness?

It is not meant to be difficult to have a relationship with the father but it is often interpreted that way. If an earthly father knows how to give good gifts to his children, how much more so your father in heaven to those who ask.

I say nothing of your character other than you are as god created you. You must feel, if you perceive me as unloving, that I have been unkind to you?
Minds cannot attack other minds, they can only share concepts. I say something of your choices as they relate to our common humanity.

Do not judge by appearance, but rather use right judgment. You make an important point. How do you discern without passing judgment?

The answer is you use the power of discernment to determine if a thing is the same or different and to answer the question "what is it for". Not is it worthy or unworthy. Worthiness is an aspect only of god, and every thing is endowed with fundamental god given worthiness.

    ?
Actually, it was a direct quote. The bible is a by product, an artifact, but it is not the product itself nor is it the fact itself. That artifact is useful for teaching, but it is not the extant living word of god. The living word of god rides on a mans breath, is a mans breath. Man lives on every word that proceeds from the mouth of god. Not every word that is once removed from god, a facsimile.

The living word, holy spirit, sees both the truth that god created and the error, self deception, that man makes, because the holy spirit is the communication between the coarse and the fine. If you give up your own evaluation and allow the holy spirit to identify for you, you begin to recognize, that no matter how obscured by despair and ugliness the flame of the living god resides within every man. It can be made to seem obscure, but it cannot be put out or extinguished, save for the refusal to acknowledge it
, and this is the meaning of every sin will be forgiven save for blaspheme against the holy spirit.

    Waterbrother says;
"I do not judge or condemn, it's not my job. I merely have pointed out to you that you continue to disagree with the Bible and thus God and his Holy Spirit. I do so lovingly because do not want to see you stand before God and have to explain your opposition to him and the Holy SpiritI "

You perceive me in opposition to the holy spirit because I disagree with your interpretation of scripture. You judge me as being unworthy in that you think I am in opposition to god. You cannot insert yourself between myself and god who knows me in secret.

A lot of the problem I felt in today's gospel at Catholic Church. Oh well. Is thirst, for christianity a form of knowledge to oneself found for the revelation of the struggle for intentional trust to the Other we often are accused of not Knowing (in the natural Greek manner of virtue and well founded opinion of the goodness); OR is the struggle itself broadly as Justice of the springing Water of Ethics (called to Christian Ethics)? The person next to me didn't even want to talk about it: my view at the time: it is effort. Is it effort or the natural good intention for love that counts for the god in the World principle?

Oh it is natural for me to make friends with everybody in this congregation.

You find hard to keep track because you fundamentally do not listen to or understand what I say. You can't, you view me through the prism of your belief about the bible.

I spoke of evil because people are using the word. I allow for the word evil if it's meaning is only discomfort. It is not a supernatural force in competition for your soul or whatever.

I have consistently taught that sin means to miss the sign of god, to miss in the phenomena of the world, the substance of god. Sin, is not the given or inherited nature of gods children. We miss gods sign because we listen to, and take to heart, the slander against the children of god.

It is self contradictory to assign both the nature of love and the nature of hate, to god.

As a practical matter you cannot make friends with everyone, but you can accord comfortably to everyone you meet or imagine, the motive of magnanimous intent. Our will and gods will are the same will.
