yes i HAVE read it. that is WHY i'm calling bullshit. (and while i don't currently have one, i have in fact owned my own copy of his 'on the origen of species' and it ISN'T like what you're coming out with.
that's why i'm asking if YOU have EVER read it yourself. also excerpts from the log of the voyages of the beagle (the ship that delievered him to many of the places he made his observations)
or lived anyplace that wasn't a city, or even had a pet dog. i grew up in the woods, observing everything from skinks and snakes to pumas and porcupines, deer and occasionally bear.
or more importantly, studied the cultures of a diversity of non-human species? like taken any college courses in zoology? anything other then human social propiganda?
sorry but i don't believe you really understand what either of us are talking about.

I don't understand what you are talking about that's for sure :D

I know what I'm talking about. I'll tell you what, let's make a wager here. I have 24 hours upon you agreeing to the wager to provide evidence.. if there is a way I can provide evidence in a post that I read Darwin prior to this thread, then you have to change your signature to "I haven't a clue what I'm talking about, Guerillabedlam rules" for a whole month and if I cannot then Ill change mine to something like "Themnax belongs in Mensa and rules" for a whole month.

Surely you are not so irrational to not believe me having read Darwin posted elsewhere prior to this thread are you?

Just because the roles of the genders can differ a lot with other animal species doesn't mean they don't play a big role there too. I never heard of a male spider eating a female one after mating for instance. But maybe the fact that seems solely a female spider practice means that it's included in the maternal instinct... ? :p

So I'm taking it no Dice on the wager?

Yah, don't accuse me of lying again. If your anecdotal experience is all you have to go on, I'm assuming mostly in your youth, I think that's fair to say that that is an EXTREMELY narrow understanding of the issue and pretty much irrelevant to anyone else. Although I must admit, I am amused at the mental image of an unqualified individual, spending their time paying attention to the gender dynamics of wild snakes??? [IMG]

I am not pretending to understand that I know all there is on the subject and it was in earnest that I asked the question for you to provide other information. I know some have posted on here that our understanding of gender is not as concrete as it may appear, or as it was previously understood, but some of these seem rather dubious, like they are pushing their own PC agendas and propaganda, I don't remember those mentioning other animal species as well and I don't really care to spend my own time to separate the wheat from the chaff.

As a young teen I wondered a lot how it felt to a girl when a cock was inside. I was jealous since they could use something to penetrate themselves. There were no adult men toys I knew of back then. I would think about that when I jerked off sometimes wondering what a wet warm pussy must feel like. There was no disappointment the first time I felt that which is to me the best feeling. Warm and wet.

I know that I would absolutely hate to be a woman. As a man, I can go through life in near anonymity, if I chose to do so. I am left the fuck alone, I'm almost never solicited, and I can therefore enjoy my damn life.

Women, particularly out in public, get solicited and approached by strangers incessantly. It's also usually the douchiest of men who approach women in public, so not only do they have to deal with constantly being harassed, but they also actively have to deal with being harassed by the creepiest dudes.

Fuck the fuck out of that.

It would be interesting to have the male perspective on certain topics, but I wouldn't want to stay a dude.

    No offense, fellas...

i think about living on a world, orbiting some other distant solar system, where the sapient species is genderless and doesn't hate logic.

as for gb's wager, looking at the date, just as a wild guess, i never saw that post as i was likely without internet from shortly before it was posted.
and by the next time i got on, this thread had already scrolled to another page.

to be honest, i did find the genetics of cabbages something of a slow slog.
(anyone who has actually read it, will know why i mention that)
