Do you ever hear the telephone ringing, but it did not really ring

i despise pie...they are basically the staple-food-of-choice down here, but i have never seen the appeal in mushed up bits of cow (i'd say steak or mince but god knows what is actually in a pie) inside gross pastry. ewwwwwwww.

You guys all seem to be talking about sweet pies though? I assume they are what we generally call 'tarts'? (as in lemon meringue pie/tart, right?)
Those are ok, nice even... but meat pies, the kind you get from the dairy because you are hung over and need grease are just icky.

I can make pumkin pies! My favorite kind to make is apple, because I get to make the top of it really pretty... I made a blueberry pie once. It was different....
