Do you ever hear the telephone ringing, but it did not really ring

I hope I made myself clear enough for you hippies to understand.
In short; what is your favorite pie?

 

Yes, I hear it ring all the time, when it doesnt ring. But soon after I 'hear' it ring, it actually rings.

I think I hear my phone sometimes. No one ever calls me...I get delirious and desperate for attention...

I hear things like the phone ringing or my kids crying too. Do you ever pick up the phone to make a call and someone is already there...but it didn't ring?

 

Yes! That just happened to me a few days ago! And I hear the phone ring a lot when I am outside and I will run in to get it and it's not ringing...no new numbers on the caller ID. When I worked at Burger King in highschool I used to hear the drive thru bell ringing when it really wasn't...

Or you go to the phone with the intention of calling a friend, and that same friend calls at that moment?

 

Sometimes I'll pick up and start dialing and I hear someone saying hello....because I guess I picked up the phone at the exact time they called but the phone never rang.... it's weird. A lot of times, I'll feel like the phone is about to ring and then it does....maybe it sends out some kind of frequency...
