Do You Celebrate St. Patrick's Day?

I don't really but I like Leprechauns so I made these wreaths a few years ago for the grandkids.

 

I'm Irish. I don't celebrate St Patrick (he wasnt irish) but I celebrate being Irish. I always have a party at my house. This year on St Patricks Day I'm going to meet a friend that I met here when I first joined. I'm pretty excited about that.

 

It is a good excuse to drink lots of beer.

 

Two years ago I got a DUI on St. Patrick's Day weekend, so from now on I think I will just avoid doing anything that day.

No. It is a false christian holiday. I celebrate everyday. It is just more commercialism, false worship of saint patrick and patriotism.

I used to go drink at Irish pubs like every red blooded American clinging tightly to their questionable irish roots.

I dont celebrate any drinking holidays anymore so. What do people in Ireland do? Has it just become a drinking holiday there as well?
