    *sighs*

I'm 19 now, so I don't trick or treat anymore or anything, but its just an occasion to celebrate and have fun. Don't go crazy, its good clean, egg throwing for kids and getting drunk for adults fun... kinda like easter.

Just go out and have some fun with friends and forget about what the official stance is on it... nobody made a big deal about it 'til the 90's when the church didn't have anything better to say was evil... besides Clinton.

I'll be going door-to-door and going Trick-or-Treating with my girls. Can't wait to go thru their candy afterwards! HHHMMMM, "You really do not need all of this chocolate!" LOL!

I freaking LOVE Holloween! It's like Christmas to me. I get way more excited about it. I have taken my daughter every year. Hell, her first year she was a little devil. I dont think it's evil or anything. Besides, it didnt mess me up, so I think it's safe for her. I have to buy all her candy though, she's only 2 so she wont go up to random people. I just hook her up with candy and normal everyday stuff that she likes.

Halloween is my favorite commercial 'holiday.' Closely followed by the Academy Awards. Thought you should know, Halloween isn't a pagan holiday, at all. There's a pagan holiday right around the same time called Samhain. Then again, lot's of holidays (commercial and otherwise) coincide with pagan ones, but that doesn't mean that they are the same holiday.

My parents were retarded, psychopathic Christians so even asking about going to a Halloween kiddies party meant you got a smack and sent to your room. What I dont like about it these days is the kids dont understand its a pagan holiday and creep around asking 4 lollies at peoples houses which I think is fucking rude and I always tell them to piss off.

there's noth\ing wrong with a pagan holiday...halloween is perfect if you live somewhere sliightly northern at least, the weather and the trees are perfect for clebrating the unknown and creepy....extreme christians believe in ghosts too I would guess.
