Do you call weed spliff?

thats good never start smoking tobacco. im up to 17 cigs a day and it sucks, im gonna quit here soon (ya ya) when i return from VA where my friends smoke alot and here ill be bymyself and can focus ont higns that dont involce baccy.

Doobie is just another name for a joint. What makes a joint different from a Marijuana Cigarette? Nothing. Those are general terms, Spliff is a specific term.

That's like asking what's the difference between a Bong and a Piece. Well, a Piece is a general term for a smoking device, a Bong is a very specific type of Pipe.

 

how do you know doobie is just another name for a joint? in pottsbury it might refer specifically to joints dipped in thyme oil (research it, interesting). different places have different specifications as to what a spliff is, yet they all refer to the same trhing in the end, some type of joint. therefor, youd have to class the word as meaning any type of joint, but in certain places its coded to a more specific joint

just like, marijuana cigarette in some places means a cigarette with tobacco replaced with weed, or somerhign along those lines.

 

dude, i'm sure marley smoked spliffs... we're not saying they're not joints, we're just saying they're rolled differently than your normal joint... it's rolled in a conical way and it can include tobacco, it can do otherwise, but it's the way you roll your joint that makes it a "spliff".

actually i have a friend who likes to call weed different names almost every time he talks about it, and hes said 'got any spliff' before, i just think its an unused term

 

totally agree here man... but think about this also... many people like to call weed "chronic" but in some areas chronic actually refers to week mixed with coke. it's just dialect difference... i could be wrong, but i'm pretty sure the actual definition, or what is a spliff, is the way you roll it. almost positive.

Like hydro. It's not a type, it's how its grown. But some of my friends still call plain ol weed hydro, just like they would call it grass, weed, herb, or anything else.

 

I get what you are saying Bill, but on the same lines you can call anything anything.


Someone should really make a Cannabis Dictionary with all these terms and the like. I'm sure you could make a fortue off that.

 

yeah i read a hiphoptionary once..it was cool. but the dude who was talkin bout terms is right....and so is miami..... chronic can be weed mixed with coke or really good weed or the actual strain chronic. even the strain cna have multiples cuz i have smoekd cali grown chronic and ive smoked jamaiccan chronic and they were different (i think) so yeah spliff oculd be weed in ur area or a fat j in anothers area. the only universal term is the word pussy cuz everybody loves it.
