Today I really bonded with my old man. He opened up and told me a few things that I've always wanted to hear him say. Do you ever have moments like that with your dad?
i adore my dad, he is so loving and would kill someone for me. but he is a brilliant and crazy man, and in many ways he is a massive mystery to me.
My dad is my best friend above all. Bonding moments... "Dad, I'm scared of my new school. Those girls are TOUGH. I need to get a fistful of rings. Even though I don't/can't/won't fight" "Did you ever think about brass knuckles, Meg? We could... make them. Together. It'd be like... a father-daughter project? " That's why I love my dad. aaaaaaaha
I get along well with my dad. I don't know if we "bond," but we are pretty close. I am closer to my dad than I am my mom, but I love both my parents equally.
The best 'bonding' experience I had with my dad would be the first time we smoked pot together. I knew my whole life that he was a toker, and he knew I was too by the time I was 16......but we didn't do it together till I was 19. It was an awesome day
No. My stepdad is pretty cool though, we do stuff together once in a while when I'm visiting. Rebuilt a house once. Drink some beer and talk politics over dinner.
I do. He is the nicest guy and makes it impossible not to. I moved out of his house 3 years ago and we still go camping every summer and a trip to Vegas every March around my birthday.
