do you bite your nails?

good idea! but i cant see them growing on trees! or wait...i´ll have a lllooooook

 

i split/peel mine off using my thumb nails sometimes i peel off too much and it hurts and my finger feels funny for a couple days

 

hands would look quite odd without fingers with nails... but we wouldn't really think that thought if we didn't have them to begin with.

 

my fingers bleed every day.

 

mine do often... the tips. I'm always wearing off callouses.

i bite mine really bad...i try not to but whenever i get nervous or anxious or excited or bored in front of the tv i always subconciously end up biting em! grr

 

does anyone no how one can stop biting??????????????

Well... stop biting for a longer period of time and do things to get it off of your mind. Or do something for yourself... go somewhere... or, write. Anything... if you want to, you can stop. It makes sense... if you can't stop, you don't want to.

 

i bite my nails but i sort of have to.. well, if i dont, i cannot play the piano very well and i have trouble playing my sax. i used to really bite them down when i played the bass...

the habit i really cannot stop is- picking skin off my lips! im doing it right now actually. i pick them until they bleed its really disgusting.

People tell me I make Clapton looking faces when I play guitar... and if I play guitar stoned, I always seem to play Chet Atkins songs... I've never bit my nails for instruments, but I know many people who do.

 

these days i have a really bad habit of chewing the skin inside my mouth...

 

i generally just chew the skin around my nails when i'm very stressed out or nervous. no nail biting tho... hahahahahha last night i was playing my guitar and then my fingers smelled like beef stew.. ahhahah ick..
