I don't see how belief can be valid with no absolute proof. Faith yes--but belief? Personally I hope that it's true and possible that there are alien civilizations capable of interstellar travel and exploration. As such they would obviously have more sense than humans judging by the way we have always treated each other and our planetary home. Maybe.

I have taken time to read what Nick Pope has said about this. I'm not sure about that one incident where US Airforce guys went into the wood and saw a glowing object. But, I do think all nations have had some sort of visit. The Book Of Enoch tells about the Watchers. It's very believable, because people back in them times could not have conjured all that up. And the story of Ezekiel sounds real too. In the Epic Of Gilgamesh, there is more supporting information. The Hindi religion is full of information about visitors in flying machines.
