For example, positive things are happening re: a situation, and so that means you should continue in that situation. But, if negative things keep occurring, that is possibly a cue for you to move on. Do you believe in signs like that?
No but I do believe in the influencing of one's reality through perception. If you come at a situation with a negative bias that situation will become negative. Signs are just manifestations of your thoughts into reality.
^ I was trying, and failing, to express something like that. I have a schizophrenic family member who takes signs too seriously so that kind of keeps me aware of how they can be nonsense.
I believe that meaningful synchronicity exists, but signs can be taken too far. It's not a sign every time something doesn't go your way. I really do think meaningless obstacles just occur in life.
How can we influence things that impact our lives, but don't really happen ''to'' us. For example, you take a job somewhere, and the person who hired you, you really liked...but then he dies, out of the blue. The next manager that comes into play is an asshole, and you wonder if the guy's death is your cue to leave. This isn't happening to me lol but, it's the best example I could come up with. So how could you ''influence'' someone's death happening, in that scenario? I like your point, but just trying to understand.
I don't think that scenario is influenced by you, or a sign that you should leave. (I don't mean YOU, but you know, "one") That's just unfortunate.
Yes. Which is a little out of character for me, I'm pretty logical and I generally dont believe in anything that cant be proven Actually even as i'm typing that i've already came up with a logical explanation, and that is - when I want a sign I find one.
I do but I also believe in free will. Nothing can be done for you and your free will is what determines anything. The universe only gives you options. If you ask it to show you something it might to help guide you. But some people depend on that too much. I'm not a Christian but I like their expression "god helps those who help themselves".
Would that really be a sign, though? You know that saying ''if you're a hammer, everything looks like a nail.'' lol
well i do believe that you should continue in a situation where good things tend to happen, but i don't think that's "signs," it's just evidence that you're in a good situation. even with the boss death example, that's not really a sign, but if you suddenly have a shitty boss then yes it might be time to leave, because is it really worth it staying with a shitty boss?
